Its hard to bury your child. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. It all seems like a bad dream until after the funeral when reality sets in. People are gone and you are left to deal with their absence. Please support and pray for these familes. I dnt know them but my heart goes to them. The pain never leaves u but u learn to cope.
the only thing that kept me together was knowing god has not ask more of me than he gave up himself. He gave up his son for us and I gave mine to him. The pain is unbearable. Love and support goes to them.

I spent half my childhood summers playing football with C.J; he lived beside my family. I can't believe this happened. I'll pray for all family members.

we should all understand that our friends and loved ones can be taken from us in an instant. God gave them to us as a gift, we should all strive to be better people, stop gossiping, love each other and help each other. we all love and will miss these boys.pray for their families.

It's a terrible, tragic thing. I feel for the families. I have always thought that 15 was too young to get a permit, and 16 is too young to drive. I didn't let my kids get their licenses until they were 18, and I still didn't let them drive under certain conditions, like the interstate, until I was satisfied they were experienced enough to do it. Some people might not agree with my decision, but I had lost a 16 yr old niece, my brother, and my father in car accidents.

Whether or not they agree with you is irrelevant. You absolutely did the right thing. I also think 16 is too young to be allowed to do certain things. If they are still mad at me when they reach 25 or 30 then it worked. Very sorry for your losses also.

It doesn't matter if you get your license at 16 or 18 you will still be an inexperienced driver. My son got his permit at 15 and his license at 16 and I only let him drive to school and back for the first year. After that I allowed him a little more freedom, but he had 2 years driving experience when I let him start driving other places than just school and back.

I feel for the families in this horrible tragedy.

If you get a permit at 16 then get license to drive yourself at 18 then that DOES compute to more experiance before you get out on your own.

I work with one of the parents of these boys, and my daughter is in school with families of the other two. It is devastating about their loss, and my prayers are with their families and everyone who knew them. In a small town like Hartsville, you know everyone, and the whole commuity is mourning their loss. May God be with them and comfort them during this time. I cannot imagine what they are going through. Such a tragedy. My prayers are with you all.
