it's a good thing for sure. Doctors shouldn't be drug dealers, it's unethical, leave that business for druggies. I think pain pills are just as bad as heroin. And coke is too expensive for anyone around here to buy. Crack and meth use could get worse but they are also scarier to use for the first time, people may be a little less likely to try them. Overall I like the thought of a pain pill ban, perhaps it will clean this area up a bit.

I think its wrong for the law to override doctors decisions. I understand that some doctors are unethical, but it ties the hands of good doctors to do their job and undermines the patients health. There are actually people out there who needs their medication that do not abuse it.

I agree, but how else can the problem be stopped? There should be some sort of way to make sure they are upholding the Hippocratic Oath..

They bring in these laws to monitor and watch doctors, but who is watching us, our elderly, and our homes? Where is the deputies? where is Crime Watch? we don't have anyone to protect us from the crime now. I am not taking up for "potheads"pillheads ", but you can pretty well predict their behavior. But with meth, crack, cocaine, heroine, etc there comes much more violent and deadly crimes.
Drugs have been around for centuries and people have always looked for ways to get high. We need to police the streets and not the doctors.

how are pill heads less dangerous than heroine addicts or crack heads? How can you predict a pill heads behavior and not someone who is on hard drugs? And yeah people love to get high and will find a way but it shouldn't be as easy as going to the doctor!

Corrupt doctors have caused this pill epidemic and should be treated as criminals and sent to prison. They are drug dealers.

I would much rather pain pills and marijuana be in the neighborhood than crack, meth, coke or heroine like Huntington. It is a proven fact their alot more deaths and armed robberies and such
