VeraSun closes sale of five ethanol plants

VeraSun Energy Corp. says it has closed on the sale of five ethanol plants, including one in Minnesota, and one development site to traditional refiner Valero Energy Corp.

That's a good start. Next, we should convert them over to making something useful instead of the idiotic and wasteful idea of diverting our food and feed supply into automotive fuel using one of the most inefficient processes for doing so.

Good! Ethanol uses way to much water to produce a gallon of ethanol. Very in-efficient to produce ethanol. Go Vikings!

Great news. Ethanol is worse than a Ponzi. Campaign dollars to legislators and you get legalized Ponzi with everyone required to buy regardless of the damage to vehicles and the envirionment. At least with a Ponzi you have to fool me in to playing. Close them all..
