I'm going to have to find a drug dealer to borrow a gram scale so that I can measure the amount of pyrotechnic mixture in my sparkeler.
I want to be in compliance this July 4th. Just hope I don't get busted for possession of drug paraphanalia for having a gram scale

"You can't hand a child a sparkler." A SPARKLER??? Ah, the nanny state. Well guess what? If I want to hand MY child a sparkler, I will hand him one, and it's none of the state's goddamn business. Who the hell does this state think it is? Charges? Blow them out your ear. You truly expect people to have respect for what passes for laws in this moron state?

"Independence Day? Ha! Not in Konnecticut.

Nazis.

Besides, if sparklers are that "dangerous", why were they made legal again?

C'mon, legislature, ban 'em again. Tell us how it's "for the safety of the children."

It is not the cops fault that our laws prohibit Connecticut citizens from enjoying their "independance" day. Each law that is passed further restricts our freedoms, and imposes the feel good will of increasingly socialist government policies.
Fireworks should be legalized in Connecticut provided they are used under adult supervision. When used properly, fireworks are safe and enjoyable.

The TNT Fireworks Company payed alot of money to get fireworks legislation passed.
They need to make a second installment on the payoff.

Then the people in Connecticut will spend their money in Pennsylvania and New Hamshire.

Soon, you will only be able to have 1(one) child in the Communist State of Connecticut.... any more and they will be confiscated!

Nah, they won't confiscate them--too much of a liability. Unless, of course, they dump the cost on someone else's lap, which they are very good at. No, they'll just impose a "fee," a penalty, if you will, on subjects (In Ct. you are a subject, not a citizen) having more than one child. That's the Konnecticut way.

Sure thing m0r0n - take each and every case where somebody was injured by use of fireworks by non-professionals and you've got your proof.

I want to know why cops in this state are wasting their time with fireworks violations? I'm sure they can find something more important to do.

Blumenthal's a flippin idiot. Connecticut is a joke. Fireworks are illegal....what's the point? To keep drunken idiots from blowing their hands off? Who cares! If it's not fireworks, the stupid drunks will fall off their boats and drown, or find some other "legal" way to hurt themselves. Oh wait...it's to "protect the children". I was under the impression it was up to the parents to protect their children.

I think it's the stupidest thing EVER when, every year, you see on the news what happens if you hold a firecracker in your hand when it blows up. GUESS WHAT....YOUR HAND WILL GET BLOWN OFF! Does the government really think we are that stupid? OF COURSE your hand will get blown off of you're holding something that's exploding. I gotta go. I have to run up to New Hampshire, a FREE state, and by my fireworks for tomorrow. Wanna come watch my kids?

Hey moron....if somebody is stupid, and gets hurt by using fireworks, do you REALLY think that should effect the rest of us? I think YOU need to get a clue.

Guess what moron. When you hold something hot in your hand, it will burn you. If you hold an explosive in your hand, it will blow your hand off. Do you need the government to tie your shoes and dress you in the morning too?

Like when I was renting a condo and the couple in the next unit stored fireworks in their furnace room?

If sparklers are made illegal only criminals will possess them.On the day we celebrate freedom from state tyranny we must OBEY.All oppresive laws are for our own good.Furthur resistance is futile.I HEAR,I OBEY.Happy 4th,fellow inmates.
