People, you come on this site and write what you think. Im not saying you dont have freedom of speech but you take it too far. You talk bout
Manchester High like every single day theres a fight, thats not true.
Manchester is a great town and has a great school. Ive lived so many places and Manchester isnt even close to what Ive seen. Sure they had a big fight, but its not like its soo bad that kids cant walk the halls without being scared. MHS is a great school that gives a good education, lots of the kids love their teachers. The teachers there not only care about the education a student is getting, but they also care bout the childs well being. Teachers arent just there to give you school help, but to give u guidance or support.
Im sick of hearing that MHS is a bad school, just because of one fight? God! If one thing goes on that happens to be terrible news, it makes the school look bad! Jeez, give them a break.

Very well stated. I agree with you 100%. Many of these people, like Joan from Hamden, have no insight into our community and are not able to think things through rationally and examine the entire issue.

none of you guys should not be judging the boy who beat him up why? because you dont kno him im the sister of the attacker so if any of you should judge at leaste know him because he didnt mean to cause that type of damage its not his fault that the other boy was in a gang my brother is not in a gang so dont judge someone if you dont even know them

Only in the school setting is assault considered an "unfortunate incident."

I sincerely hope the "little bunnies" who did this get a detention. Maybe they're "learning disabled" or "special Ed," in which case they can't be disciplined in a punitive way because they have a "handicapping condition."

I'm sure somehow it's the teacher union's fault.

This just in: Administrators who fear litigation protect felons and thugs more than teacher unions protect bad teachers. I HAVE SPOKEN!

Only one thing to say about this were are the surrounding guidance to watched these children there needs to be metal detetives now and more supevision even the playgrounds as i have seen the playground teacher are way in the back while kids are being bullied near the doorways outside also kids are payin on bets who wins the fights again where are the teachers this is very sad that has happened becase of poor neglegence it is the school fault and the parents who are raising bullies something has to change I hope your son will be okay our prayers are with you all keep strong.

you are right i have seen it at the middle school and high school its happened over the years kids almost being killed or hurt i think the teachers are afrsid and principles and this dosnt help there. letting the kids run the school diffinty school fault for not watching there either to busy talking on the cellar phones or gossping to the other teachers start cracking down because us parents will be taking control now if these school cant, time to start sueing as they know this has been giong on for a long time also a school should always have two guidance council not one just a you should already have common sense manchester

I'm this forum is out dated, 1 fight is kinda bs right now. There has been 19 fights in the passed 2 weeks. YES there has been a fight or fights everyday. Manchester isn't a bad school but the generation of students is becoming bad.
