'If Romney doesn’t care about the 47 percent of the country who enjoy riding in the back of the wagon, what does that say about Obama, who doesn’t care about the 53 percent stuck pulling the wagon?

We have people in this country who believe that the taxpayers should fund their life through welfare, food stamps, a failed public-school system and now healthcare.

Some are just spoiled brats protesting because they have to repay their college loans and can’t afford a sports car and a condo. The left wing has created a nation of whiners with their hands out.

Let’s help people who need it: the elderly and the veterans who have served our nation. This country needs change and hope, and it’s not coming from Obama.'

'Ranger Romney tells us:“Please don’t feed the bears, because they will become dependent on that food and stop foraging for themselves. I don’t have a problem with that.'

'The history of the 20th century is full of examples of countries that set out to redistribute wealth and ended up redistributing poverty. The communist nations were a classic example, but by no means the only example.

In theory, confiscating the wealth of the more successful people ought to make the rest of the society more prosperous. But when the Soviet Union confiscated the wealth of successful farmers, food became scarce. As many people died of starvation under Stalin in the 1930s as died in Hitler’s Holocaust in the 1940s.

How can that be? It is not complicated. You can only confiscate the wealth that exists at a given moment. You cannot confiscate future wealth — and that future wealth is less likely to be produced when people see that it is going to be confiscated.

Farmers in the Soviet Union cut back on how much time and effort they invested in growing their crops, when they realized that the government was going to take a big part of the harvest. They slaughtered and ate young farm animals that they would normally keep tending and feeding while raising them to maturity.

People in industry are not inert objects either. Moreover, unlike farmers, industrialists are not tied to the land in a particular country.

Russian aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky could take his expertise to America and produce his planes and helicopters thousands of miles away from his native land. Financiers are even less tied down, especially today, when vast sums of money can be dispatched electronically to any part of the world.

If confiscatory policies can produce counterproductive repercussions in a dictatorship, they are even harder to carry out in a democracy, which must have public discussions and debates. Those who are targeted for confiscation can see the handwriting on the wall, and act accordingly.

Among the most valuable assets in any nation are the knowledge, skills and productive experience that economists call “human capital.” When successful people with much human capital leave the country, either voluntarily or because of hostile governments or hostile mobs whipped up by demagogues exploiting envy, lasting damage can be done to the economy they leave behind.

Fidel Castro’s confiscatory policies drove successful Cubans to flee to Florida, often leaving much of their physical wealth behind. But poverty-stricken refugees rose to prosperity again in Florida, while the wealth they left behind in Cuba did not prevent the people there from being poverty stricken under Castro. The lasting wealth the refugees took with them was their human capital.

President Obama can endlessly proclaim his slogan of “Forward,” but what he is proposing is going backward to policies that have failed repeatedly in countries around the world.

Yet, to many people who cannot be bothered to stop and think, redistribution sounds good.'

Facts just always get in the way of Repubs talking points.
Six Americans on the Fortune400 richest list paid no federal income taxes in 2009 while making something on the order of $200 million each.
In addition to the six who paid no tax, another 110 paid 15 percent or less in federal income taxes. That’s the same federal tax rate as a single worker who made $61,500 in 2009.
Overall, the top 400 paid an average income tax rate of 19.9 percent, the same rate paid by a single worker who made $110,000 in 2009. The top 400 earned five times that much every day.
note that the Fortune 400 consistently donate 50% to 60% of their income to tax-deductible organizations......

so the government can squeeze more revenue out of these folks if they eliminate the deductability of such contributions.....drying up a significant revenue source for charities....

lets assume that Mr. Rich, setting up his estate plan, donated $500 million to various charities last year, resulting in little or no tax liability....

of course, you leftwing redistributionists would rather have the government confiscate his assets and make the decision on where they go....

The Lamestream media like MSNBC, CNN & CBS are nothing more that part of the propoganda machine for the leftwingers. That's been "self-evident" for years now. Like the White House always does, they denied it at first.

Because that is what the media are saying, that is what the majority of the media want, and that is what the media is slanting the stories and news coverage to project. It's that simple, the media!
This should have been a devastating week for was based on everything but instead it has been turned around by the media and is on all the coverage except Fox that this was a very bad week for Romney. Seriously??? They have taken the very edited clip of the 47% comment and run wild just like they did when he came out and criticized the comment that came out as the embassey statment and covered it non stop like that is the issue of the day or of the last week. We have a dead ambassador, embassey's being attacked ALL over the mideast and else where now and having Islamic flags hung above our embassey's while our flag is tore down and stomped on and burnt and the White House and the State department can't seem to get it through their head that we know what this was because we know what the date was first off, and they still insist it's over some movie trailer. They make sure Valerie Jarrett has more security then our ambassador and the embassey even after a threat to both two days prior to the attacks and the media ask NOTHING about this, the comment NOTHING about this and all they do is cover for the president and his administration. We need to take back our own elections and stop letting these lying dogs in the media choose our president for us and basically tell people who they should vote for based on their crooked and lying coverage.
We need to get back to the days when you didn't even know how the media felt about either party because they just told you the actual news and let you make of it what you made of it, not what they wanted you to see and believe. I can't even believe any of these jokers call themselves journalist anymore.
So if you are wondering why people would actually vote for this failure as a president....because the media want them too.

Obama: The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing…….Beware the
Message in the Fabian

It is a beautiful, if creepy thing, this Fabian Window. And since I first wrote about it four years ago—before Obama’s socialist administration came to power—the message contained in the stained glass has become creepier still, for the message in the glass portends where Obama has taken us the last four years and where he intends to take us yet. It illustrates his game plan, his program, his ideology and his modus operandi. And it might as well hang in the White House for all to see. For the sheep’s clothing has been removed and we see the wolf for what he is…..

The wolf plays a prominent role in socialist thought. V.I. Lenin once said “When you live among wolves you must howl like a wolf,” meaning, of course, that if political necessity requires you to act like a capitalist or live among capitalists while you organize and work for socialist causes, you must act like those among whom you live. This is simply a matter of expediency. Norman Thomas, a founder of the A.C.L.U. once said:

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

It has nothing to do with driving is a privilege.
It has to do with the idea that if Muslims drove, then they had insurance. If they have auto insurance then they can't claim some religious reason for not buying health insurance.
Was that concept too difficult for you?
You can claim a right from the Constitution.
Among other rights the Constitution guarantees you, you have the right to life. This means you cannot be penalized merely for living, regardless of what you choose to purchase in your life.
If a person lives and purchases only food and clothes to maintain their life, they cannot be penalized merely for living.
If there is a religious ethic involved, the Constitution guarantees you the right to adhere to your religious beliefs. The actual text in the Constitution is "the free exercise" of religious ethics.
The government is prohibited by the Constitution from enacting any law that commands a person to purchase anything merely because they are exercising their right guaranteed in the Constitution to life.
Anyone who has ever read the Constitution would know this.
