Okay so he didn't do the crime, but the state of CT paying the man, means we the taxpayers have to pay the man.
Legally, we the taxpayers locked him up wrongly for 20 years. The jury represents the populace.

20 years for having sex with a 16 year old seems fair enough - hope he earned his lesson lol
Hater, just pray that is if you have any sons that this doesn't happen to them. You and your family are the only perfect people in this world.

Juries are easily mislead by lying prosecutors who they think are seeking justice when they are really only after self aggrandizement.

So true. More concerned with looking "tough" on crime then actually wanted "justice"

Yes, lets keep the state deeper in debt by paying the man a lot of money. he should 1st pay us taxpayers back for his incarceration costs. lets remember 20 years ago dna was not even heard of. he was convicted because at the time others belived beyond a reasonable doubt he was guily.
Why should he have to pay restitution? He didn't do the crime, yet did the time due to the state's error.

Justice is not even considered anymore. Reduction of charges is the usual offer.

There is so much about miguel roman that no one seems to talk about...but the people who lived thru it know what type of a man miguel roman was in the 80's in the crack infested stowe village...this was a man who sold drugs and chased after young woman who were more than half his age...we know that at the time of miss lopez death that it was assumed she was pregnant by mr roman....but meanwhile another girl was 15 and also pregnant with his child except that baby is 100% his...he was also in the midst of a love triangle bandetween that woman and her sister...BOTH under the of 18...he sold drugs carried weapons and preyed upon all the young woman in the project....he fathered multiple children with multiple women....which meant there were alot of jealous women in that project who wanted to ses him go down....n his sleezey disgusting reputation was a well known fact...he may not have been guilty of murder but he should have been convicted as a sexual predator and drug dealer....knowing all these facts why do you think he was convicted? And what happened to the other children he fathered...theres never any mention of them or the life he lived prior to his incarceration.....theres so many more layers of the story nobody but those who lived in the stowe village knows.....what a different tale to tell if all the truth came out

He got "railroaded" because he should have NOT been screwing around with a teenager. This "poor guy" is not a model citizen, he is just one of those guys who goes around spreading his seed populating fatherless children in the inner city.
You are absolutely 100% correct sir, he was a slime ball....and now he claims to be a reformed man, a "christian"....Karma is a bitch...bad things happen to bad people....if only you knew who this man really is and what he has done in his life
