So, uh, what would trigger a pension revocation? Any crime? Only felonies? Only acts relating to an abuse of power or malfeasance?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I am so disgusted. Gutless wonders. John Rowland and his ilk deserve nothing but our contempt. Talk about hard times? Whose life, whose program would be easier if we had that 50k that Rowland will get, year in and year out? Disgusted - really disgusted - especially in Gov. Rell. So much for the honest woman doing right by the people of this state she said she cared about and who would lead the ethical standard by being a role model - phew! Notice she didn't lead the charge against a fellow GOP. Shame, shame. We deserve better from our elected officials - we surely did not get it this time - when the principle REALLY mattered.

Here lies one of the primary reasons why we need to vote every single incumbent OUT OF OFFICE in the coming November elections... They ALL have baggage or are beholding to some one or some group. Let's stop these shenanigans once and for all, start with a clean slate of people who have no history, and run this state like a freaking business.

REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER - Rell, Amann, WIlliams, MacDonald, DeFronzio, Lawlor, Gaffey to name a few - GET RID OF ALL OF THEM !!!

It is unbelievable to me that this despicable crook Rowland continues to benefit at the taxpayer's expense. That pansy judge Dorsey let Rowland off the hook with a slap on the wrist sentence, the town of Waterbury gave him a high paying job, and now he gets a pension from the State of Connecticut!
It is amazing to me how stupid "We the People"... really are.
I earned a pension from the State of Connecticut as a public school educator for 35 years. It disgusts me how our system is so out of whack that we reward someone who is a convicted felon and who abused the trust of the citizens of Connecticut.
How can we ever expect our young people to respect our government?

It just makes me wanna holler the way they shove the cost of this crook's pension, together with cost of living increases and the like, down our throats, what a travesty of just doing the right thing, this is one awful State we live in..Corrupticut.
