Great to see people still contributing to this conversation 3 years later. Loved the Agora.

We saw Todd Rundgren at Toad's and when he threw his guitar pick to the audience, my sister & I dug through all the beer cans & trash on the floor & found it. She kept it, not me, but that's fine.

What awesome memories. Lived a stones throw away from it. Numerous Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes shows. Most memorable was The Alarm. Also The Cult, Cyndy Lauper, and Grand Master Flash. Was under 18 when such greats as The Clash and U2 played. Was so happy when they admitted 16 and over. My buddy and I got thrown out of The Alarm for under age drinking. We went back out to the car and wiped the under age sticker on our wrist off with J.D. Repaid and went back in to enjoy one of the greatest shows ever, without drinking. Got right up front with Mike Peters. What an era!

I was at that Alarm show too - that was probably in 1985. Drove down from Boston to see them - that was a great night - they really ripped it up!

Man, what memories... The 80's were the best. I saw many shows there. I actually had my first gay experience there with a dude named Steve.. Never saw him again.. I was drunk as hell. That was the first and last time I ever sucked another dude off.. Every time I drive by where it stood, I get chills from all the fun I had.. I remember smoking dirt weed and doing shrooms
