Scientists studying the changing nature of the Earth's climate say they have completed one crucial task - proving beyond a doubt that global warming is real. Full Story

Hogwash! There have been many warming and cooling cycles in the history of the earth ... some when there is evidence that CO2 in the atmosphere was higher than this era. You won't get China to agree to controls ... or India. Any UN study is likely to be biased against nations with a high standard of living.
too bad china and india are not the worst polluters in the world so getting them to agree to short term controls would not be all that critical. Congratulations to you though-You live in the country that is responsible for emmitting more C02 then any other country on the planet and we do so with a huge lead.

Funny.. I was thinking the same thing.. It is amazing how others think they are soo well in tune with reality.. Even scientists in the matter have pigeon holed themselves out of reality.

SPOT ON!! There has been NO conclusive proof that man has contributed anything to global warming. Follow the money trail and see who is benefitting from this BS science the most, and you will see the whole reason behind this junk.(Al Gore call your office.)
you obviously neglect to read the facts about human impact on the climate. we are causing this and have been causing this for over a hundred years. Ignorance from people like you is what will cause us to put our children and grand children in peril.

What "facts" are you talking about? All I have seen is possibilities and conjecture. Of course there is no way global warming or climate change (or whatever else they are calling it this week) could be caused by something like increased or decreased solar activity, is there? If you actually look at the scientific data, we have been in a state of global cooling for about the last 15 years. Like I said...follow the money trail.

Nonsense. So-called anthropogenic global warming is based on computer models that are conveniently changed each time obvious errors are pointed out.

Drudge is running a piece today that the list of prominent scientists who disagree with the AGWers is growing rapidly.

I take it that was meant to be ironic, but actually it's true:

It's been proven that the climate changes all the time, up and down for millions of years. Why are they wasting money on this? Sure its good to reduce pollution, but to spend trillions on efforts that will do little to nothing to change the climate is crazy. You can turn off all the lights in the world and one volcano or the billion cows on earth still will produce more co2s

You, too, "noneyabuisness." (sic)

Instead of jumping to the conclusion that he's being "hateful" (a favorite liberal trope), try reading the post as satire.

Scientists say they have proved climate change is real, now must do something about it.

First thing I suggest is that these scientists stop smoking the wacky weed.

Wrong. People such as yourself who will believe anything you are told without actually looking at the facts, drinking the global warming koolaid are doing much more harm and wasting more money that could be better spent on more worthwhile causes.
