The sad thing is she will probabaly lose her job, while real crooks will get a Golden Parachute and the companies they destroyed will be taken over by the Feds. Steal a little and they throw you in jai, steal a lot and they make you King.

She's getting everything she deserves. She is supposed to be a role model and have a higher degree of integrity and she blew it. We don't and do not want officers like this in uniform.

I'll be the first to throw her under the bus, BUT the article only says she's been arrested and suspected of stealing. It doesn't say how much, how, why or what the money was spent on. The article has little information to base anything on except that she is suspected and arrested. If the arrest warrant wasn't sealed by the court, why isn't there more information in the article? "Bob D" says it's sad she'll lose her job while "Typical" finds her guilty. I'm more upset that we only got a snipit of information on this case and we now have to fill in the voids with what-ever our personal bias are. How about better reporting, giving us all the information. That would be a breath of fresh air.

Pass the word to one and all. We have a chance this year to take government back from the real criminals in this state, the politicians. VOTE YES FOR A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION. The only people against this are the corrupt politicians and their friends the lobbyists. The lobbyists can't control us like the corrupt politicians. Remember how JODI was going to clean up the state. Remember how the criminals refused to pass legislation taking away pensions from criminals like Johnny Boy.

I was shocked to see her picture on the news last night; she ran the DARE program when my son was in middle school. She had a huge impact on my son's life during that program and has helped lots of kids to stay away from drugs. She was and is a positive role model for our children. She has done more for our community than most people; so please give her a little slack until we know the facts. You don't know the situation or what exactly happened. She is the sweetest, nicest individual I've ever known; so this is totally out of her character. Michelle you will be in my family's prayers. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Hey Bob Dylan - it's pretty sad, but you know what. A thief is a thief, no matter how much you steal. She's a criminal, just like the inmates in prison. Too bad, because she could have done a lot for the community. Now all those kids who thought she was something special get to find out guess what! She wasn't a role model after all. Simply a crook who doctored it up with "good works". Harder to see a crook when they dress it up a bit.

"Administrative leave with pay"; that terminology and action is ludicrous. In the meantime, the taxpayers of Manchester, are paying her a salary while she is on an indefinite vaction? Unbelievable!!

I have known Michelle personally for several years now. It is sad taht more facts are not being presented, we should not be judging her in any way, shap or form. Though I agree that persons in positions of authority acting as mentors should be held tohigher standards, we still should not be using their names to continue a modern day witch hunt. I hope against hope that the charges will be dropped, and that her innocence is proven. However, if they are substanitated, let the court system deal with her, NOT the court of public opinion based upon false and/or inadequate media reports. Michelle, we pray for you and will continue to love and support you through this.

I agree. This should be left to the courts where it will hopefully be dropped. Michelle is so well liked around the community and it's too bad that such vague reports are being offered to the public. I'm sure there is so much more to the story, and obviously no one is hearing Michelle's side of the story.

There was enough to arrest her. Martha Stuart was also well liked.

none of you know Michelle Wagner.
none of you know how she bent over backwards and put her OWN money into the program.
none of you know who she is.
so don't be so quick to judge unless you know the real story.
YOU ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
leave her alone.
it's just a error made.
i love her and she wouldn't do anything like that.

I'm sure a thorough investigation is taking place and that the outcome will be correct, one way or the other. If she's innocent, I hope this doesn't negatively impact her career path. If not, then she shouldn't be suprised.

Totally irrelevant point...she's gorgeous!

If she's guilty throw her to the wolves. If she's innocent, then clear her personnel file in its entirety of anything negative related to this and issue an apology.
