I think channel 6 this morning said he learned about how to drive from Playstation. It is kinda funny, especially since I wasn't at the mall when it happened.

Sorry, don't mean to rain on your parade but there is really nothing funny about this. The child is 7. Where was his Grandmother or his Mom or his Dad. Seven year olds need supervision period. Good thing he was stopped by a person who didn't think it was kinda funny! Surely you'll agree if he'd have stepped on the gas when you WERE at the mall and in the path of the vehicle....not kinda funny now, is it?

Parents, Grandparents, babysitters MUST keep their eyes and ears opened at all times. I raised children and can verify that they can be
a handful - but that's only when you let them know by your actions that whatever they might do is not too important to you.

Shame on that Grandmother who left keys where the child could find them.

Glad there was a happy ending at least....whew!

oh please don't go blaming the grandmother. I leave my keys laying around all the time.

I agree totally! I am also relieved the incident didn't end in a tragic way!
