after seeing the taxpayers vote in the sales tax, I have come to the conclusion that residents of this county are more stupid than I originally thought. they go with the crowd, follow their leaders and vote based on the number of signs placed on the roadways. you reap what you sew!

http://www.tax.ok.gov/bt4.html The tax doesn't seem to be a requirement to match the increase of county sales tax. The county "can" choose to increase this tax to match an increase in county sales tax. They are choosing to grab more money from the tax payers. That is why the county comm. "voted" to have this tax put into effect.

The county is good at illusions, they will all be able to work as magicians on their next trip to Vegas.

When are you people going to learn? The people's vote does not mean squat, especially in Sequoyah County. I learned that lesson years ago.
Sequoyah County officials has always done what they wanted to do and for some odd reason the people of Sequoyah County just take it lying down.
Until the people of Sequoyah County take a stand and demand answers from their city and county government, it will continue to remain the way it is. The elected officials are picking your pockets dry. When are you people going to quit letting yourselves be used and taken advantage of to the point that you can no longer have any livelihood.
How much is it going to take for you people to stand up and say... Enough is enough !!!!!!!

If what bud says is true, then the people may have voted against the tax and the commish decided it was going to tell the people that it passed anyway. Its probably the same thing in all of the votes. Seems to me that the county "officials" do what they want regardless.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Gemini

If you're currently keeping something secret it will really start to prey on your mind today and you'll worry about blurting it out at the wrong moment. It's one of those days in which you're absent-minded and completely wrapped up in your own thoughts. As a result, it will be hard to concentrate on anything else and this won't go down well in certain quarters.
