<quoted text>You keep coming back with "back handed" comments.. but with this one you showed you are totally clueless. Yes they do make money for what they do...but then again I'm sure you do not got to your job and not receive a paycheck (provided you work). And I fully believe that regardless of what you do, the better you are at your trade the more you should be compensated for it! They are the best. I say this without hesitation, Muck Boots if you think they are not in touch and show caring for the mourners.. then you obvioulsy have an axe to burn with them personally.. and with the last statement of your comment being about their money.. then it is probably jealousy. Instead of covetting what they have.. how about trying to be as good at what you do as they are at their trade and see how that works out for you!
I don't think I am clueless, and I certainly don't have an axe to burn. I have already said that I think they are good people that run a world class funeral home. I merely think that they usually stay in their offices too much, instead of trying to comfort the grieving people. Your insults were unwarranted, IMO. At the end of the day it is all about money, for any business, but I would NEVER covet their money or anything. David and Louis are good Christian people and they deserve all of the blessings that have been bestowed upon them, but, still, can't someone have an opinion without being crucified? I would rather have them for neighbors than 99% of the people in Mercer County. If I thought otherwise I would definitely say so.

First of all what most people want during times of grief is space, and not to be hovered over. For that matter tell me of any funeral home that is in among the grievers during a visitation... most are covered up with visitors and wouldn't know whether or not they are there or not. I assure you that there is NEVER a family there that if they need something that they are not very well aware and take care of them. I'm sure they would love to have you as neighbors as well... so you can whisper about them behind the shrubs. lol. OH and BTW.. it's Lois not Louis.

Sure, some people want space while others want to be comforted. At Alex/Royalty they have several greeters that always go out of their way to comfort you, so don't give me that crap. Sure, Larry seems like he doesn't give a darn sometimes too, but he has a person at every door making sure someone acts like they care, which is what it's all about. I don't care if you are a psychopath, as long as you act like you care. I wouldn't be surprised if you are a member of the Ransdell family. That, or you work for them. No doubt about it. Please, carry on.

NOPE Einstein none of the above. And you really show your intelligence with the statement "I don't care if you are a psycopath, as long as you ACT like you care." How stupid can you be... be nuts..and not sincere.. I like phony sympathy.. what a tool.. But you finally spit out what you have been trying to do from the start.. You finally endorsed A&R.. took you long enough to grow you a pair to do it!

There isn't much difference between real or phony sympathy when it comes to comforting someone, especially a stranger, in a funeral home. If you own a funeral home, you should always make sure to connect with your customers, even if you don't want to. And regarding A&R, the ONLY reason I 'endorsed' them was to draw comparisons. Not only that, but I gave nothing but praise to the Ransdells and their funeral home many times. I have never said anything bad about them, other than the mom & pop were a bit snobbish. I will always recommend the Ransdells over A&R, but only because I have known them well for over 50 years. IMO, BOTH funeral parlors are recommended.
