For all you crazy people out there that knock us deer hunters .Just look at the differents in the way are kids are rasied in the out doors and how they respect the way of life and learn how to harvest the animal instead of spending five bucks at McDonalds. I promise we are way better off than you are so just go eat your veggie burger and leave our way of life alone THANKS!!!!!

It was Troy Gentry who killed the pet bear, not Eddie Montgomery.

It is not cruel but opinions vary. It is only illegal in some states, liberal states

I keep my feeder going year round and feed a variety of wildlife. I enjoy seeing them on my feeder cam just plain old shell corn works good. Get the does in and bucks will be there. I'll take a big buck if he comes around, let the small ones walk. I put a couple of young does in my freezer every year and quite a few rabbits and squirrels. Hunted all my life and don't give a damn if some asshole likes it or not.

I use "buckfudge" as a corn topper. Works great, and the deer keep coming to it like they are on meth.

Animals killed in slaughter houses die instantly (usually by electrocution). I've had deer meat, and there is nothing special about it. I'd rather eat an animal I know didn't suffer than one who bled to death because some redneck didn't make a good shot.
your just an arrogant person if it weren't for us hunters the deer population would over populate and they would all die from disease and starvation also we are feeding our families when we kill a deer and hunting does not make an animal suffer if you shoot where it needs to be shot

Baiting large numbers of deer into one location helps to spread Chronic Wasting Disease. We don't have it east of the Mississippi River yet. Best way to keep it our is not to do things that encourage deer to congregate.

you can leave bait as you call it out in Kentucky it said so in the hunting guide. I leave corn out when I hunt. when you do this you just cant put it out any were because you do not now if deer are even there. you look around your land for tracks and sighs before you put it out. so you are not baiting them in as you call it. you are just keeping them happy till season comes in.
I do now there are some people that don't fallow the rule, but for us that do you tree huggers just keep what is in your head in your mouth. we are not starting a word war. I just came on here to find out the best deer feed to use.

also for you tree huggers that don't agree with hunting. most of us people around my home town hunt for are meat. just this year 2013 and 2012 and 2010 I killed bucks every year. my family ate them and it was better then the beef you get at your wall mart.it cost less in the long run a 20 dollar tag for 130 lb. of meat, better then 5 dollars a pack at wall mart . don't get me wrong we still go to the store but we don't spend 200 dollars every time we go.
P S what do you think the first American ate they did not have you town wall mart.
