Does anyone know where Rocky Point Manor is?

We were trying go find it last weekend. Thought it was up by Beumont Inn but could not find it??????

It's not called that. I don't know where the manor came from, but it's known as Rocky Point. It is on Park Street, and privately owned. It is a lovely house. Facing it, the section on the right is the oldest.

I've spent, without exaggeration, hundreds of hours in that house over the last decade. Alone, with others, day night etc. Regardless of what you saw on tv, that house isn't haunted. The Perryville connection was conjecture. Many buildings were used on a short term basis after the battle. Guess that wouldn't make for good ratings, though.

It was, and continues to be, a happy place. If it weren't hemmed into a deadend street, I would have bought it and moved my family there. If it weren't for the mansard roof addition it would be the finest example of early federal architecture in the bluegrass.

Thanks for your help. It is a beautiful place from what we saw on tv. And I agree, the tv producers have to make things up or else we would not watch.
