Why would I want to eat at a restaurant that mocks the deaths of 182 white American soldiers? These men DIED defending the Alamo against a Mexican army of THOUSANDS.

What if a group of white Americans opened a restaurant in Mexico and called it "Remember the Alamo?" Does anyone think that would go over well with the native population? Whites took revenge upon the Mexicans at San Jacinto, killing many with the rallying cry of "Remember the Alamo", so we couldn't have that.

How the hell are they mocking anyone? Just because they named it the Alamo?? This happened over a hundred years ago. Let it go. Lol. Perhaps they wanted to name it after a place in their homeland. Hell, they can do that. How ignorant of you. Plus, they get PLENTY of business, you missing isnt gonna hurt them.

im not sure calling it the alamo is mocking the defenders of the alamo. i am sure that the alamos defenders werent all white. there were blacks and hispanics aong the defenders. also while soe americans were there they were at the very least on foriegn soil. wether they were on mexican soil or in the independant republic of texas is open to interpetation but they were not on american soil at the time. and lets not even get started on the defenders at goliad who were massacered after they surrendered.

another point worth remembering is that many of the defenders were themselves illegal immigrants in mexico. One of the reasons for the conflict was the fact that while some american settlers had been invited many more crossed the border without permission.

eat at the resteraunt or dont it makes no difference to me but the whole white american stuff is just a little sad.

Hey looks guys, a closet racist grasping for any reason he can to be angry. You are probably also one of those hypocrites who get mad when everyone doesn't speak English... a language we brought here by force, slaughtering the native speakers of this land. The world is a huge place. Don't be so grumpy when your little bubble can't remain unaffected by it.

The battle for the Alamo has come to symbolize (worldwide)a heroic struggle against impossible odds a place where 182 WHITE men made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. For this reason, the Alamo remains hallowed ground and the Shrine of Texas Liberty. If you don't have enough sense to figure out why the name is inappropriate, so be it.

If you dont have enough sense to realize that they mean nothing by it, then so be it!

You are sadly misinformed. The defenders of the Alamo were not all white. You obviously have a disdain for anyone of Hispanic descent, so sit at home alone drinking your beer and waving your confederate flag, while the rest of us go out and have a good time. You really need to get over your small elitest world view. We are all brothers and sisters, no matter what part of the world we hail from. Apparently you missed that part of Sunday School.

Actually, there were about 150 White volunteers. These 150 men were later joined by a further 33 White volunteers. I have heard that around 6-7 of the volunteers were Hispanic, but I doubt it.

You do realize that the massacred defenders were White? And thus the cause for white revenge at San Jacinto, which led to the Republic of Texas.

Red Indians used lethal force to viciously annihilate other tribes; Africans did it too, and we already know what the Mexicans did, but the big bad white man is the racist, lol. You need to learn your history and stop being a self-hating white. I imagine you voted for Obama as well.

I'm sure most Mexicans don't know jack about the Alamo, so they probably don't mean anything by it. But I think it sucks, regardless.

You might as well leave the old white racist guy alone. The "us versus them" mentality is all their simple minds can handle, and they will cling to it out of fear. Don't worry. That attitude is quickly dying out. You can't get and especially can't keep a decent job when your every move is directed by hate. Judging from his post history, I'd say he's some old retired factory worker who sits around and watches Fox News all day.

I don't believe there were any non-Whites, but there may have been a few, less than 10, if any. I have a Confederate flag, but I don't drink beer, liquor, etc. I will have a glass of wine every now and then.

i dont know if the "mexicans" know the history or not but roughly ten percent of the defenders have spanish surnames. all of the "texican" defenders were technicaly mexican citizens. They immigrated and accepted land grants from the mexican goverment. santa anna was sent north due to the violations of these grants. as far as the fact that they were outnumbered every losing side in history has been outnumbered. im not trying to belittle them or their deeds. i grew up with bowie, crockett and travis as my personal heroes. but to paraphrase ron white. they didnt know how many it was gonna take to whoop their as$ but they knew how many they were going to use.

as far as "white defenders" go there were at least two black men at the alamo. one was a servant the other was a free man. also there was one indian. and many of the whites were intermarried with mexican women.

the battle at san jacinto was for revenge but it was not racialy motivated per se. it was revenge for two masacres and a fight for texas independence. again it was a mexican civil war. most people involved were mexican citizens. wether they were immigrants or not they had accepted mexican citizenship.

again eat there dont eat there it means nothing to me

Nope. I don't watch Fox, or any news outlet. Unlike you, I don't have time to be lied to. People are waking up all across America, to the chagrin of self-loathing white traitors like you.
