My daughter dropped and broke the hand held screen control that goes to our wii u, does anyone know if I can buy just the one piece and sync it to the wii, or am I going to have to buy everything new ? A lot of our stuff, wifi, netflix, television, satellite, etc.., runs through the wii and I use that one control pad for all of them. If anyone (technologically savy b/c I am NOT) can help me out with any info I'd really appreciate it , thanks so much for reading/commenting. Have a great day !!!

Found this online, hold the remote upside down and hit the directional pads hard. These are the ones that look like a + with your palm. If that doesn't work call Nintendo at 800-255-3700. You can buy a new control for about 20 on Amazon last I checked.

The control.that I'm talking about is made similar to an ipad. Other than a home button, television button, and one other joystick type control. The whole screen is busted , kind of like when u drop an android (iphone) screen. So is this the same kind of hand held wii U controller ur talking about that costs $20 ?? I certainly hope so...

yes your right, those are about 300, yikes! Try calling Nintendo above, if not, maybe Gamestop? There's one in Danville, and they usually have some geeks there who are good at fixing or directing you where you can possibly get it fixed.

Thanks for ur input, sounds like I might as well go by the whole new unit again. They used to have a kiosk in the mall that fixed phone screens..Wonder if it's about the same thing ??? Anyway, thank u very much.
