Drive INN

So, apparently the drive inn is now adding rules. Such as, trucks having to park in the back behind the concession stand? Women only bathrooms inside? Men having to only use portable potty's. What does everyone think of this? I don't think its fair for single fathers who will need to use a actual restroom if they have kids/etc.

Grow a pair ! It's not a big deal and don't bring down the one good thing Harrodsburg has going for it ! It's actually a better viewing experience up on the hill !

It is a business. Businesses are better ran when there are rules to follow. Do you not understand the logic of parking big trucks on the hill? I have children and we can use porta potties just the same as a regular bathroom. They are making changes because customers complained. Of course they can't make everyone happy so that's why you're on Topix talking about it. The only complaint I have is people smoking. But...it is THEIR business, THEIR rules. Don't like it? Don't go.

Last time I checked portable pottys don't have running water. Meaning kids can't wash there hands. If you have changed a baby in a portable potty congrats to you. The rules are on their Facebook page and are in effect this next weekend. I've went almost every weekend it's been open and I will no longer be going.

For the big trucks, this isn't fair. If you want to see get to the drive inn early. This isn't fair for those who go early to eat supper and get to the front first. They should at least make one side for trucks and the other for cars.

They could do the exact same thing that devines does with hand washing as well as adding hand sanitizer. They asked everyones opinion and specifically want to know everyone's concerns. Make your points on there or in person and not on Topix.

They do make baby wipes and wipes for adults also. The last time I checked you would wash your child's hands off with a baby wipe as well as the behinds. Also if you have to change your child's diaper you could do it in the car. I have and it didn't kill me or my baby. Everyone wants to go out and have it convenient like they are at home. Well that is not the way it works. Be happy there is decent cheap and safe places you can go and take your children.
If you do not want to go. Then that is your choice. But why ruin it for everyone else?

Twin Hills is the only thing Mercer County has to offer for entertainment and is very affordable. 4 people can see 2 movies for less than $30.00 complete with popcorn and drinks. They also have burgers and dogs. I for one am glad they got it up and running again and as for the bathroom issue, no big deal either. I would bet if a man had to take his little girl to potty that the woman in line would be understanding and allow him to go in the bathroom with her.

They had to make one indoor bathroom a family bathroom in order to meet the requirements for handicap customers. I have been there when big trucks were down front and it blocked the view. If you don't want to park on the hill take a car!
