Get some baking soda and vinegar. Pour baking soda down drain an in sink the pour bleach an let it do its thing. It will bubble up real good, just let it sit for a while an then rinse with really hot water. It worked for me... Good Luck

I don't drink it either, I have actually put water in a glass and and let it sit for a week and it actually got some type of film on the inside of the glass and smelled stagnated.

Sounds like your plumbing is the problem , The trap in the waste line is supposed to take care of the fumes (smell) coming back through the drain.

If you have a garbage disposal, dump some ice in there. The ice will strip off the slime that's causing the smell. Then put some orange peels in there and grind them up. Another thing to do is always drain your dish water while it's hot. Don't let it cool down. If it's just drain pipe, the vinegar and baking soda should clean it out down to the trap.

John - I dont have a garbage disposal . Do you think there's a chance of real sewage seeping into my water lines some way ?? I've mentioned to owner a little bit but theyre not taking me serious .
