How do you define Democracy? Is it the rule of those elected? If that is true, you have to say that Nazi Germany was a democracy. Hitler was elected Chancelor. Then he turned the country into a dictatorship.
The Muslim Brotherhood won a "democratic" election in Egypt and immediately established a Muslim dictatorship. Apparently the citizens of Egypt did not favor Shira law, the persecution of non Muslims, etc. So they revolted. Is this Democracy? Was the original election a democracy? Clearly the answer will chart the way for the future of middle east Muslim countries.
But what should the U.S. do? We funded the Muslim Brotherhood leadership? Do we favor the Muslim Brotherhood or do we favor the rebels? Both sides appear to blame the U.S. Why do we continue to do things that give fuel to that part of the Muslim world which wishes to destroy us?

Your understanding of the events leading up to Morsi's ouster is infantile at best.
