All that will happen is more tax will go on shells, guns, and full auto has been banned a long time but sure the nut will sau he did it.More guns for all legal but LOCK them up when you are not around.

You need to read what Joe Biden stated today. No BAN on assault Rifles!!!!! Maybe on large capacity magazines he stated! Going to be a real deep background check on new gun purchases to see if mental illness in your family tree. I think this is the best way to approach the problem. A simple minded 12 year old can figure this out. They knew if they try to ban guns that they will start a civil war! Good day!
I don't matter what we think, either for or against guns. Biden, Omamer, or congress don't have the guts to do anything that will cost them votes. What difference does it make to them if people are dieing every day? One guy is afraid and he wants a machine type gun to protect hisself. Another wants a bigger gun to protect hisself from him.

That preacher's kid killed his family because his father kept a bunch of guns at home and he could get to them. Do any of these gimmy all the guns I can get people ever think that their guns can be used to kill them?

Way I see it is this. One man wants a gun to protect his family. He does not lock it up. A member of his family can take it any time he wants to and he can kill his neighbor or hold up the store. Or someone can break in and steal it. Another man wants a bigger gun so he can protect hiself from the first guy's gun. And I need a assualt gun to protect myself from both of them.

That's BS ! U know that 28 kids a week die in the US from child abuse and neglect ? How many people die from drunk driving or alcohol abuse a day ? How many die from smoking ? How many from auto accidents ? How many from workplace incidents ? People's logic is idiotic ! AR's are just the flavor of the month by our idiot media ! Watch and see ! AR's ain't goin nowhere !

Your argument is that people will die anyway, so why worry about those who die from guns. Lets save a lot of money and do away with medicare. The old farts are going to die anyway. Let the government stop with food regulations. People are going to die any way. Why worry about local health department inspection of resturants. People are going to die anyway. Injections to prevent disease. Get out of here. People will die anyway.
Your argument is foolish.

There is no logical need for assualt rifles for the the ordinary citizen. If you hunt and you can't bring down game with a standard rifle, you don't need to hunt, and if you cannot defend your home with a pump shotgun, you need to hire a body guard who can.

Hitler never disarmed his people. Maybe Jews, but not the German people. Before Hitler came into powers there were gun laws which required people to have serial numbers on all weapons and required them to register them. Both of those requirements were logical and sensible.

You seem to think that unless you have your assualt rifle and a boat load of Amo the U.S. government will become another Nazi type government. Obama may be a hard headed liberal who is leading this nation to economic collapse, but he is no Hitler. Such far out thinking is beyond stupid.

Now for your idea that "it is my money...you cannot tell me what to buy. Look around you. There are many things which are unlawful for you to buy. Can you buy pot and not risk running afoul of the law?

The U.S. is a country of laws. Laws are meant to keep a country civilized. Too many guns are making this country a nation having to deal with a grownig number of savages.

There are laws on the book about DUI. Remember the drunk driver that killed all those kids on a school bus on 1-71 several years ago. He is still in jail. Drive drunk and kill someone with your car and you likely will be charged with murder.

All those who recognize the danger of millions of guns in this country want is some simple things. They do not want to take away your 22 or shotgun. They want to ban assualt rifles and large magazines. They want gun owners to take responsibility for their guns and register them and keep them in a safe place. That's all.

Mr. Jones,
I am really concerned about your lack of concern pertaining to the Jewish people with your comment "maybe Jews". Registration is what lead to the disarming of the Jews. Ask a Holocaust survivor about gun registration. After the civil war Jim Crow laws were passed to keep free black men from owning firearms. Guess who show up then? Yep the KKK. You actually think something Hitler did was logical and sensible? By the way, other goverment leaders who insisted on gun registration: Stalin, Pol Pot, Amin, didn't work out well for people. No our president isn't a patch to Hitler and would never compare him in any way. But I don't know what may be right around the corner. Remember we put American Citizens in internment camps right here in America during WW2 because of their nationality.
I'm ashamed of it but we did it.

Who the flip knows what happened for sure?
The fact is, the president and the gun nuts are using this tragedy for all its worth, which is disgusting and sad.

Did you hear about the 17 year old boy who wondered what it would feel like to kill his family after he watch a fright movie? So he decided to do it. He was going to use a knife, but then decided his mother and sister would suffer less so he used the 22 that the stole from his grandfather. I guess old granddad wanted the 22 for protection. Some protection.

Wonder which kills the most? Weapons bought and used to kill someone who actually invades homes, or home protection guns that are used to kill the family or neighbors or used to kill in a crime?

Point one...Jews were victims of the the National socialist Party. We all know how bad the death camps were. We would never concentrate Americans today, but those were different times. Pearl was bombed and we were at war. It was assumed that West Coast Japanese-Americans might do damage, so the confined them. Of course that was wrong, but at least there was no starvation and there were no cremations.
Point two...As I stated earlier registration was already in place when Hitler rose to power. Hitler never baned guns and his government never invaded homes and collected private guns.

Your fear of gun registration is not founded in truth or logic. It smacks of not wanting to take responsibility for owning and keeping guns away from people who would make them unsafe.

As I have pointed out, you can have all the guns you want. When someone comes into your home and takes them, then your guns are now their guns.

Adam Lanza's silly mother was shot in the face while she slept by her own gun. The Reverend Greg Griego, who hoarded guns like crazy people hoard cats and loved his AR-15 more than Jesus, was shot in the back numerous times by his own beloved rifle. Had he lived long enough, he would have seen his entire family shot to death by his own guns. Well except for his own son who did it of course. The original plans had his beloved AR-15 making a trip to Walmart where numerous other people were to be gunned down by the "blessed AR."

Yes, Lanza and Griego both felt that they were safe. They were the foolish man sitting on a crate of dynamite and smoking a cigar. Simpletons like "walker" decided the thing to do is just simply not believe. Don't believe that those little kids were killed with an AR-15. "Why them high flaunting coroners, what do they know? I get my info from BREITBART!" Or you could be like some of he nitwits who decide to believe that the whole thing was a hoax and no one was killed. This originates from the same website that claims Walt Disney and Adolf Hitler was the same person! I'm not making this up!

Meanwhile the Right will drag out stories of the mom in Georgia who shot an intruder with an old school snub nosed .38 as evidence that every home should have a cache of guns including an assault rifle.

Under Adolf Hitler, German citizens could own anything. He relaxed gun control to the point of doing away with it entirely. Hitler ruled by propaganda. The Historian gets an F in history.

When the Nazis enacted their own law in 1938, they added restrictions aimed at Jews, such as not allowing Jews to work in any business involving guns. They also prohibited those under eighteen from buying guns, added yet another permit for handguns, and banned silencers and small hollow-point ammunition. Of course, Nazi officials were exempted from all gun permits. Later that year, after "Kristallnacht," Hitler forbade Jews to possess pretty much any weapons.
The Night of the Broken Glass (Kristallnacht)--the infamous Nazi rampage against Germany's Jews--took place in November 1938. It was preceded by the confiscation of firearms from the Jewish victims. On Nov. 8, the New York Times reported from Berlin, "Berlin Police Head Announces 'Disarming' of Jews," explaining:
The Berlin Police President, Count Wolf Heinrich von Helldorf, announced that as a result of a police activity in the last few weeks the entire Jewish population of Berlin had been "disarmed" with the confiscation of 2,569 hand weapons, 1,702 firearms and 20,000 rounds of ammunition. Any Jews still found in possession of weapons without valid licenses are threatened with the severest punishment.
On the evening of Nov. 9, Adolf Hitler, Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, and other Nazi chiefs planned the attack. Orders went out to Nazi security forces: "All Jewish stores are to be destroyed immediately .... Jewish synagogues are to be set on fire .... The Führer wishes that the police does not intervene.... All Jews are to be disarmed. In the event of resistance they are to be shot immediately.
All hell broke loose on Nov. 10: "Nazis Smash, Loot and Burn Jewish Shops and Temples." "One of the first legal measures issued was an order by Heinrich Himmler, commander of all German police, forbidding Jews to possess any weapons whatever and imposing a penalty of twenty years confinement in a concentration camp upon every Jew found in possession of a weapon hereafter. Thousands of Jews were taken away and we all know where they ended up, don't we?
