A local community in Louisiana has teamed with some ex Marines to form a program to help disadvantaged youth. The program has helped thousands of troubled kids with great success. It uses "junior marine" as a guide and kids pledge to respect country, community, parents and God. Because of the word God in the pledge the federal authorities have taken away the grant which has helped fund the program.

Madonna corrupted our national anthem by singing this " home for gays" instead of home of the brave in her recent version of our national anthem.

She is praised on national TV and Louisiana kids can't use the word God.

What's next? Taking "Under God" out of the pledge of allegiance?

maybe they need to take that phrase out. It has not always been there. Not everyone in this country believes in God.

You asked what's wrong with this country. Here's what's wrong with this country. People don't believe in God because no one wants to hear that they are wrong. Everybody just wants a free for all kind of world where you do as you please without any regard to right and wrong.

I'm sure you don't have trouble spending money that has the phrase "In God We Trust" on it do you?

No I did not ask what is wrong with this country. A lot of people dont believe in God. I dont see a problem with that. I know a lot of good people who dont believe and a lot of assholes that say they do believe. I do agree with part of what you said. There are a lot of people in this country who wants the free for all kind of world. People dont want to work. People want to blame all their problems on someone else. There is not enough respect for other people or our country....

And to make myself clear on the God issue. I will be the first to admit that I am not a very religious person. But I have no problem with those that are. Just dont shove it down my throat...

How blind can some be????? Our country has been let aliens, illegals, Mexicans and just whom ever wants to wander in,They know America will take care of them and get the good life free, they want to change our laws and control us. That is one big reason the Bama got a second term, and he keeps on doing this, given a few years there won't be any true americans and we may as well hang it up. Wish I could be in control for a while, would be nothing but assholes and elbows scanting back to their own country. America needs someone to stand up and fight but we're American chickens to scared!!!!! everyone needs to take a look around and make better decisions in 2016. especially Hillary, she will be worse than the Bama. Her lieing ass is worthless.

People who say that are idiots. I bet if they put a picture of Obama on the 1 dollar bill you will spend it. Or if one day the government takes in god we trust off our money you will still spend it. You are the people that I am talking about. Someone disagrees with your view on religion and you just have to say something stupid.

I said nothing of my view of religion. Seems you are the less intelligent of the crowd. You assume a lot. You are the one attacking religion. I was pointing out that while you attack it on one side, you have no problem carrying an object with a religious saying in your pocket.

You talk out of both sides of your mouth. You give idiots a bad name.

It is very possible, unless the Republican Party changes it's position on many issues, that George W. Bush will be the last Republican President.

Republicans will continue to do well in the deep south with the exception of Florida. They will continue to do well in the sparsely populated states of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and so forth.

But that's where it ends. There will be fewer and fewer "battleground states" and once Ohio turns blue, it will be over for them. It won't be long before Texas and Arizona become battleground states, losing their "red" status.

The Republican Party's only hope is to embrace Hispanics and other minorities, gays and lesbians, and those people who follow a religion other than Christianity. The ranting and raving against the poor (even if they are poor by their own fault) must stop. This includes insulting people on any form of welfare.

Unless the Republicans soften their stances on social issues, and move to the center, they will continue to only draw 40-46% of the vote nationwide. While this is enough to keep the party alive, it isn't enough to win the White House.

U guys are more concerned with ur own egos than doing what's right ! Even when things are worse than ever you continue to stroke ur selfs ! It's just absolutely ludicrous for you to say that Obama has done anything besides muck up since he's been in office !
I've ask this question countless times and still no answer ! Tell me one good thing Obama has done since taking office ?
