It's public record. It belongs to you and I. You can get it at the courthouse, or you can simply find it in the newspaper. Aside from juvenile proceedings and certain family court cases at the judge's discretion, all criminal court cases are public. Anyone can walk into the courtroom, have a seat, and listen and watch any proceeding. While some people consider this to be "nosey," it in fact protects us all from secret court hearings and is guaranteed by our great Constitution.

"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence." - Sixth Amendment

Hence if the trial is to be public, then most certainly, so is the outcome.

Thank you for your question.

you may be right but I dont think so. When they built the new court house I think each and every case is called one by one. Everyone has to sit in the hall and wait their turn except for inmates. I think they are kept in a certain room. The courtrooms are tiny now.

Of course I'm right. Those are folks outside waiting to speak to the prosecutor. You don't know what you're talking about.

Bunch's case was reset to next month. White received pretrial diversion (essentially probation).

Hmm...how is that I wonder? She served 2 days and him not even a week in BCDC, walked out of the rehabs they were ordered to go to before time was finished, got married to avoid testifying against each other, and got out of it all. Damn, they knew what they were doing huh...
