Its called the War Powers Resolution passed by Congress in 1973 - The War Powers Resolution requires the President to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war.

The President is not a leader. He has shown how weak he really is.

If we go in and bomb them, then we'll be acting on the side of al-Qaida. The time to act was a few years ago, but I guess o' was too concerned with golfing with celebrities and vacationing at our expense.
We need to stay outa this cluster flop even if
it hurts o's ego

News people are saying now he wants their approval, so Bama can blame them for his failures, now he is saying he didn't draw the red line and Putin said Kerry lied, If us don't strike then its' a coward, yet if it goes there will be lots of countries against us.He has screwed the people so much I wish he would be taken out by impeachment or something.

I understand exactly how you feel. Here's something you can try that might make you feel better. Hold out both hands. Now close your eyes and wish into your left hand that Obama gets impeached. Meanwhile, shit into your right hand. Now open your eyes and see which hand got full first.

If you don't get the desired result the first time, you may have to repeat it until you do.

The best thing for Obama to do is back up and draw another red line. He can repeat as necessary for three more years. Or here's a novel idea, perhaps he can learn that if you can't bite its best not to growl.

Was that really necessary Digger? Couldn't you have gave a simple answer without being vulgar about it. I guess that is just in your character makeup.
Obama is wrong wanting us to get involved in this war. I do not care how red faced he gets over it. This is wrong. This is something that is going to hurt the USA. We need to stay out of it.

America can no longer consider itself the last bastion of all that is good if it allows a dictator to gas innocent civilians and children. If that's not something to get "red-faced" about then I don't know is.

"What message will we send if a dictator can gas hundreds of children to death in plain sight and pay no price?"

Go back and re read bert diggers post. Anyone of any importance never talks like that, in person or on the internet. Yet he expects people to believe that he
gives seminars and such. Good job bert, it's posts like that one that remind people exactly who you are.

Driver u know about the seminar he was to do back in July to the kids about bugs,,,,, he lied out his butt, was never such, when some called they didn't know what we were talking about, some said they would go, and he quickly canceled cause he didn't want to be found out who he really is but we know and he is a coward and snake in the grass. I wouldn't trust him around children. Glad others know of him on here and that I'm not the only one that knows the likes of him.

Well if none of the other countries are not going to back the USA. Then hell let it stay over seas. We have people dying here in America from hungry. Over seas is always going to be fighting. Let other countries step in and do something. Like I said we are a country trying to survive what these other damn countries is doing to us for trying to help them. Of course with the help of our great President we will be destroyed.

Can you please post a link about someone in the United States starving to death who was not the victim of another person's neglect (aka old, mentally handicapped, a baby). Is starvation a common problem here in the United States?

Or did you mean to say that people from Hungary are dying in America?

Obama should have struck immediately,Syria crossed the red line,to late now.We lost the element of suprise.Sometimes a President has to make a tough decision, not Obama he wants a backup, someone to blame.Liberals and progressives make for poor leaders, unfortunately we have one in the White House.
