We always enjoyed the place, the food was good . If there was a problem, they went out of their way to fix it. I hate to see it go . It was a nice place to take out of town guest without driving to Lexington
I wish Eddie would try to get it back, if it was his dream then fight for it.

damn dumbass hillbillies can't even afford biscuits and gravy and they go put an "upscale steakhouse" in the middle of nowhere. Hillbillies don't know what REAL steak is. They think Texas Roadhouse is the greatest place ever. Try The ChopHouse or Malone's. You get what you pay for. Discourage inbreeding....BAN COUNTRY MUSIC ! <quoted text>
Sounds like to me you are a disgruntled Gay guy that likes to listen to elevator music! Your problem is the best part of you ran down your mammy's leg. Hillbillies know how to live and Country Music Rocks!! I bet you love banjo music to the tune of "Deliverance" lol

Eddie doesn't care anything about it any more. It's "old hat." He's got a new woman and now he's dealing with a mid-life crises. The last thing he wants to be bothered with is a steakhouse.

Is this a fact or just a lame a$$ opinion from some one that wants to sound big behind a fake name?

Ok I've been to the chophouse and malones and malones is way over prices for what you get, it was good yes but I can get a steak that taste just as good at Applebee's for 15.00 personal opinion, and the chophouse was good too.. Better than malones but still not worth the the price. Montana grill has a good steak worth the price as well as long horn but other than that no other place stands out for price, so no you don't always get what you pay for. I'd never go back to either of those places you listed because its no better than a Texas Roadhouse lol... The only thing malones has priced for what you get is sushi but I can get better sushi else where too! People don't go to malones because they think its just that damn good, they go because they think its "cool" or that they are "somebody" for paying a rediculous price for a 3 star steak.

Eddie and his "baby."

Eddie's sole statement regarding the closing of the steakhouse: "Unfortunately, we had to close the steakhouse. It was a dream of mine to bring something back to our hometown that we could all be proud of." [Although Eddie does not nor has he ever lived in Harrodsburg.]

Now that really sounds like someone who is heartbroken doesn't it?

We definitely don't need another owls nest, or nothing like the tavern! We need another good place with live bands, bike nights, & lots of live action.... Hell far if noone opens it back up I may just buy it and bring it back!!!!

Not every employee that worked there did drugs.

I spoke to a good friend of mine this morning from the bank. It would seem that a Montgomery does not always pay his debts.

In a few months, Eddie's will be sold off piece by piece: the furniture, the kitchen, the music equipment- everything. This will be done in an attempt to recover some of the huge debt that was left by Eddie's dream.

So the good news is that you might be able to buy a piece of the steakhouse to display in your own dining room!

I only went there one time, and it was during Christmas, and had over a hour wait.so we decided to stay to check it out. after waiting about 40 or so minutes a couple came in and was seated after mins, and my husband got so mad. he then asked to speak to the manager.the manage assured us we would be seated right away but we still waited another 15 minutes and finally got a seat.never got the first apologize. Before leaving we later found out that the couple that got in within five minutes mother worked in the gift shop.what a way to treat first time customers. we never went back

If it's any consolation, it wasn't just first-time customers that were treated that way. The regulars often received that same treatment. From day one, how long a customer waited on a table was directly influenced by the proximity of their lips to Tracy's butt.

Well, the reason that Harrodsburg doesn't have a Chi Chi's is because that restaurant chain has been defunct since 2004.

Lord, let's not have another Owl anything. Those Dedman things are not real bars. Maybe someone will have the balls to start a petition to go whole hog on alcohol. I'd like to be able to buy a bottle of my favorite booze here in Harrodsburg, as well as some Bud Lite. I'd like a real bar here in my town, not some silly Owl pretend bar.

Maybe I'll start the petition. But then I was not graced with balls at birth and that rich dude that pushed alcohol is dead. Someone with the money and ambition should step up and change the culture in this long dead town.
