Dorothy Young

It has been brought to my attention that Dorothy is planning on running for Mayor of Harrisonville in 2011.
What a laugh? I believe that she began her part time occupation as an alderman for our city with the best intentions. Somewhere along the way her vile and extremely rude attitude kicked in. If you have ever been to a city meeting you have probably noticed that she is full of hate for the Mayor and half of the board of aldermen. She makes this apparent with her evil looks and comments in front of the press! It seems that if you disagree with her she hates you personally . I was a checker in a local market when I first met her. I took her check and noticed her name. I said, well hi there Mrs. Young and thanks for working as an alderman. Her response, to this day still shakes me. She replied, and how would you know that! What a Bitty. I think that our current Mayor Kevin Wood is about the nicest guy with a great head on his shoulders.
Mayor Wood is very involved in so many aspects of our city. I don’t know if he is going to run again, I hope so but even if he doesn’t, we cant let Dorothy Young represent our city. Please people, get involved and help secure the dignity and honor of this great city.
If you want to meet Dorothy in her own territory stop by Young’s lawn and garden where the old Firestone used to be. I made that mistake once and never will I walk through those doors again. The whole family is just rude.
Please feel free to leave your commits. I will not post my name and nether should you just in case Dorothy Young does run and somehow win. Can you say vengeful!

What are the requirements to be a city alderman? Do you have to live in Harrisonville?

I will vote for her we need mayor wood gone. This guy has never seen a sales tax ,bond issue, tif project and utility rate increase he did not love. This is how he and his cronies got us 57 million in debt, with some of the highest sales tax and utility rates in the area.
