A picture and description of Sarah Cline would be helpful as well.

The Amber Alert for Charles Dillon has been cancelled. Harrisonburg Police say Sarah Cline, also known as Sarah Dillon is the infants mother. She brought Charles to police headquarters unharmed and she is now in custody.

She has been charged with reckless endangerment (a felony) and parental abduction. A mug shot is not available at this time.

The child was with it's parent? What is the issue?

The issue is that for some reason Big Brother feels that the mother is not entitled to spend any time with her child. I don't know the circumstances surrounding this particular case or why she isn't allowed to have her child. That being said if the bureaucrats took my child because in their OPINION I wasn't meeting the profile of a good little State Sheep I would probably find a way to spend time with said child, legal or otherwise.

And what if "the man" had perfect reasoning behind not allowing time between mother and infant? I'm sure she's allowed to spend time with the child, just not alone. What if she's been convicted on DUIs on multiple occasions? Drug addict? Has a history of violence? The list can go on. What if you fell under those circumstances? Do you still think you're a special enough snowflake that you can go above the state's decision? I think it's perfectly reasonable. Dangerous people shouldn't have children. I have come across very few cases where the state was in the wrong in not allowing a parent spend time with the child(in those few cases, it's usually the other parent who'll make up whatever they need to get full custody of the child).
