"... the threats of the Commonwealth..."

That would make a good title for a film about how the Va state government has treated its residents for decades.

"Dean's pastor says he was attacked with a police-style baton known as an asp, classified in some areas as a deadly weapon.

Cindy Carr with Citizens for Rudy Dean said, "There are several states - New York, Pennsylvania, California and the District of Columbia - where they are illegal. You can't have an asp."

And the handgun is not a deadly weapon?

This case begs to be heard by a jury, if they have evidence proving self defense then show it to the jury. Gotta be able to explain why he followed Crawford to his house and stopped there.

As for Ms Neal shes just bitter, she got off way to easy.

The fact is, that the ASP has been declared to be a deadly weapon by Virginia's appellate courts...if someone were to approach me, and punch me while carrying an ASP, I figure he's not here to bring me flowers.

Terry, the only testimony that Dean followed Crawford to his house came from the investigating officer...the "victim" gave no such testimony.

And, Terry, the Auditor of Public Accounts for the Commonwealth of Virginia told me personally, on my radio program, that Becky Neal's "interest-free payday loans" were not against Virginia law.
