My wife and I have a very large estate in Chappaqua, with plenty of room. It's about a 15 minute ride to Harrison. I often travel, but my wife Hilary loves company, especially dogs. Please leave a message for her at the State Dept.regarding your travel date.

Mary, there are 2 phone numbers, one an 800 listing, but this sight will not allow me to list them. You can look them up on the State Dept. website. Actually I plan to be in DC this weekend, I'll speak to Hilary about your request. How big is your dog and how long to you plan on staying???

Bill- We will be in Harrison one night (Feb 21st). We are visiting our son who lives in Harrison-b/c our other son is also visiting, we want to make it easier & sleep somewhere else. We are not sure if we will be bringing the dog-it is an 8 month black English Lab. Wouldn't it be difficult to call the 800 State Dept # & ask for a "Hillary"?:)
I just happened upon this "Topix" website.......

Hi Mary,

February huh, one of my favorite months because ya'll celebrate President's Day!! I know that Hilary often will not accept my calls over there, but she has a soft spot for Labs, so make sure that you mention that when you call her. Does your son attend a SUNY school? If Hilary does not cooperate, you might want to call the Courtside Marriot Hotel in Rye. I don't think that they will accept the pup, but you might find a nice room for a reasonable rate. Please don't tell them that I referred you. They hate it when I call up over there for a little favor now and again. There are also a few decent kennels over that way, if you need to board the pup for a day/night.
