Child Dives In Pool, Never Resurfaces

Why wsn't there any babed wire on the top of the fence? I don't think he would have been able to climb over the fence if there was.

Where was the Mom at that child sould have been at home in bed. Not out runing the streets.I feel sorry for the kid not the parents.

Regarding little Timothy Moore:
It would be terrific if all parents taught their little ones the dangers of pools; be it in their backyard or someone elses. Peer pressure as young as 7 years old does exist..My Mom always said,"if Johnny jumps off the bridge would you jump off too." She meant for me to use my own head and think about the consequences..Good old fashion teaching goes a long way, even if your only 7 yrs old..Dares, double-dares, etc. is part of peer pressure. Parents teach your children valuable life sustaining golden rules.
Regarding Parties and Celebrations:
It's all good..but when you are sponsoring these events for young ones, ask the parents to stay and join the festivities in order for them to take some responsibility in monitoring their own children,Or,send someone to take their place in helping to monitor. Make it clear that you are not babysitting but trying to host a party therefore you can not see and chaperone all that's in attendance. Ask others who are willing to help if they would take part in supervising area's where the children are playing. Make sure that all of the children STAY at the party and are not drifting away to find known or unknown dangers...IT COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE OF LIFE OR DEATH!

I would never let a seven year out alone. They need supervision at all times. In this world today, there is so much danger. The old saying is "I'd rather my child cry today because I am strict instead of me crying tomorrow because he is dead.
