i just love the show i watch it all the time.. it just amazes me how they cope all the time.. and they are right it is only by the grace of god that they can make it thru each day... sometime i have to laugh at kate tho she seems a little uptight sometimes.. life is easier sometimes when u lighten up a little... let the kids get dirty and messey it will not hurt them at all... bless u all and the best of luck you are doing a great job..

I love this show. Entertaining. I dont know how they do it. WIth the cost of living and one income it has to be extremely hard to make ends meet. The kids are just adorable,, Mady seems to be quite a handful. but the others seem fairly laid back and easy going. They are quite the inspirational family.

I love watching Jon & Kate. I absolutely love those children. I tell my children I wish they lived near me. My children are grown and my grandchildren are old enough that they don't need grandma as much now. I look at these children and see things they are doing and remember mine at that age doing some of the same things. I love reliving those days. Sometimes I do think Kate goes overboard yelling and bossing Jon, but Jon calls her out on it and they certainly seem fine after they clear the air. I wish that just once Jon would call her out on the yelling and bossing in front of people and maybe he would embarrass her enough that she would hold her tongue once in awhile. I don't think she realizes how rude it sounds. I always laugh when they call Mady their little drama queen because I know she inherited that from her mother. I would like to see more of the shows in reruns and please, more of those beautiful children. I have got family watching the show now too. It's my favorite on TV.

Hi, Im 12 years old and I LOVE YOUR SHOW, I know a lot of people say that but i believe I'm your #1 Fan!! I can understand why Kate would be uptight, you need a uptight, energetic, strict parent to take care of 8 young children. Jon and Kate compliment eachother very well. I really do hope that you make more new episodes until they got to collage. And Kate or Jon, if you need help in any way, I would love to help, I LOVE CHIDREN!!! and I live not to far away.

I love to watch your show. It amazes me how you and Jon are able to do it Kate. You both are great parents. I hope you and your family stay on the air for many more years. God bless you both and your family.

Every time I see her clean kitchen and clean floors plus basically clean everywhere, I feel like a slob. It does seem like they have moved a lot out to the garage. Is that their secret?
Or is it like the set on the Mary Richards" show? Someone cleans it and gets it back to perfection before the next taping?

To Tex, she admits she's obsessive over cleaning. She said sometimes she cleans the same area 3-4 times a day. Especially the kitchen. I thought it was funny the one show she tried to hire a cleaning lady and basically couldn't give up the cleaning because she didn't think anyone else could meet her standards. She said that right off the bat. I don't think they ever hired anyone because she couldn't let it go.
My kids and I love the show...my husband can't watch it. He's like, we have that at home pretty much...I don't need to watch it.

Formerly from Hanover, and having close family members at the wonderful Brethern Home, I know much about the area. Great move to have the famous parents promote their faith in a Wonderful God. I think the show promotes the mother to be up-tight to enhance the show, and who wouldn't be, with 8 kids and that many different demands and needs to be met, plus a husband and father.

I absolutely love Jon and Kate + 8. I even watch the reruns and enjoy them as much as I did the first time, if not more. I live in St. Paul, MN and am a teacher (reading specialist). I see so many opportunites for Jon and Kate to teach their children the alphabet and other pre-reading skills. My cricism of the show is that Kate is always yelling at someone and the sextuplets are always crying about something. I have even changed the channel at times because my heart was broken to hear those beautiful children always crying. I don't understand why Jon puts up with Kate's always bossing him around. That is very unhealthy for their relationship and for the whole family. Doesn't Kate realize that her screaming and bossing is very unhealthy psychologically for everyone?
I would like very much to e-mail Jon and Kate directly. Where and how do I get their e-mail address?

John and Kate, I absolutely love your show and your little ones!!!
You both are so down to earth.....I think the way you snap at each other is perfectly normal, anyone who makes negative comments or acts like they have never done that with their spouse or their kids is not being honest!! please!!
I really love your show and always look forward to the new episodes

It's not hard to make ends meet when you do a dozen or so shows a year for $65,000 each. In addition, K and J do numerous church speaking tours and they pass the hat for donations at each event. They have stopped doing small churches and have moved on to venues of 1,300 plus attendees where admission is charged. Jon and Kate ONLY charge ten dollars for an autographed photo of the children. In addition, everything they get is for free, trips to Disneyland, ski trips to Utah, free ski clothes for the kids, six new bikes when they turned 4, clothes, meals, admission to wherever they go. It's not hard to go grocery shopping or fill up the tank when you have over $200,000 in your joint savings account. It's easier for Kate now that Jon has quit his job to live off of the money his kids make for him. Of course it's hard to work when he is recovering from his FREE hair transplant surgery and he goes to the gym with a personal trainer three times a week. They are both greedy slugs.
