This should come as absolutely no surprise to the Carolina International School community. The adminmistration and the CIS School Board were well aware of concerns from parents and teachers regarding the financing of the school. Bouncing teachers paychecks, not paying on the dental benefits nor the retirement benefits and holding checks for months at a time were just a few things that should have tipped off any thinking person. However, if it didn't, then the handful of thinking parents and teachers who approached the administration and the school board saying outright that there were definite financial issues that needed to be addressed, should have tipped someone off.
