Interesting, but hard to read with all of the spelling mistakes. Hasn't anyone hears of spell check? Now back to the story, weren't there other people arrested, and wasn't there WAY MORE to the story?

Carson clampett is a cusine of Alcaholic Mayor Donnie "Buzzy" Faulkner, who also has ties with the hillbilly mafia. Gabe Mills is nephew of Poinsett county Sheriff Larry K. Mills, who is also beleived to be associated with the mafia as well as his #1 chief deputy chris holt who was implicated in the disapearance and suspected murder of missing person Kenneth Wayne Moss, whos been missing nearly 7 years now. its beleived that Sheriff Mills helped in the cover up of the crime, its also beleived that Mills has been known to except bribes from meth dealers. and anonimous witnesses have said to have seen deputy holt partake in the use, sales and manufacturing of the controled substance METH. if you go back in the Modern News to march of 2007 on anthony w chandlers major meth bust read about it. Chandlers resident is the last place kenneth moss was seen. anthony chandler suposedly cooked meth for deputy holt and they as well as others are beleived to be involved in the disapearance of Moss. also check the jonesboro sun Jan 1st 2010.

You are trying to present this all as fact, as if you read it online somewhere.. You might wish to check your spelling before trying to do so. Any journalist knows how to spell simple words like "cousin" and "believed"; not to mention alcoholic, anonymous and the other myriad of butchered words you have spilled out in your fit of keyboard diarrhea.

who ever posted this is an idiot. The sheriff only has one brother and he only has one son. I know this because I am him. My name is Eddie Mills, so whoever you are you are grossly misinformed. Get your facts straight.

I know he is an idiot, but I don't appreciate him trying to implicate my uncle in anything. There are alot of people that don't like Larry, but those people are the criminals and worthless dead weight of Poinsett County. Larry is a good sheriff and he will be elected until he decides not to run, so he must be doing something right. As far as josh moss is concerned, you are a boil on the ass of society, that need to be lanced. You are the scum of the earth, an absolute waste of oxygen. If you got something to say to me say it to my face I am not hard to find.

Firearms arrests include two men

HARRISBURG — A pair of local men were in the Poinsett County jail Monday after they were arrested for their role in the theft of more than 40 firearms, Investigator Brad Felkins of the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Department said.

Carson Lee Clampit, 28, 2665 Mann Lane, and Jimmy Soto, 30, 16643 Parker Road, both of Harrisburg, were arrested as part of the investigation.

Felkins said deputies went to a home at 2993 Goad Road Wednesday and spoke to Charlie Goad, who told deputies he left home on Sept. 5 and returned on Wednesday, according to a narrative by Lt. Wayne Frazier.

“He came back to the home and found the door had been kicked in, and several guns were taken,” Frazier said.

Felkins said Clampit was named a suspect, and deputies got permission Friday to search Clampit’s home. Deputies allege a small bag of crystal meth and a piece of aluminum foil were found in a room used by Clampit.

Clampit was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Soto was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and theft of property after a parole search at his home. Deputies recovered several firearms, weapon clips and other stolen items, Felkins said.

A $75,000 cash bond each was set for Clampit and Soto Monday by Poinsett County District Judge Ron Hunter.
