How many times has harrisburg played in the state
playoffs? That is what you have to look at.Now everything is about protection, years ago it was called raw football and took much tougher kids to
play. Also you have to look at the teams that they
have played in the past.

You folks need a reality check. You need to look back further in the past and discuss the folks that went on and actually played D1 football. I haven't seen a name yet who played on Saturday.

The best football player on both sides of the ball played for the Hornets in the 1962-66 season. His name was Danny White. He got a scholarship with the Razorbacks, but got married right after graduation, and back them, married students were not allowed to compete. Danny was an offensive and defensive tackle, and was quick as a cat with a good nose for the football. I remember one game where he actually took the handoff from the opposing teams' quarterback and ran it it for a touchdown. The team lost one game that year, to McCrory 19-14 and were down to the one yard line when a desperation pass (no time outs) was intercepted.

harrisburg is a great team. close to being number one in the state. however ive just got this earry feeling that the 10-11 team isn't the best. their gna be good tho. o and zach davis isnt a brat. he might be spoiled but not a brat. if you knew him like the team... or really like the line then you would like him. he's pretty positive. he thinks better then coach D. sometimes. O and every out cuz the harrisburg hornets are comeing to whoop ass and take names.......
Oh and Cross County....we'll be seeing you soon!!

1. Jeremy Burnett (4.5) LASER TIMED 40
2. Michael Goodman...Need I say more?
3. Zach Davis
4. Nick Burnett
5. Cy Parker
6. Dewarren Walker
7. Tim Branum
8. Brody Eaton
9. Aaron Davis
10. Jeff Spiegel

My list may be biased towards more recent players, but im not well in check with older players.

Phillip Blankeship a very probably All American? HAHAHA!!!

When you go 0-10 at Corning, you'd be lucky to get 2 ALL CONFERENCE picks.

How about Byron Lindsey, derrick versie, Micheal goodman, and how about all those linemen that work hard to block our quarterbacks all those other players that keep our teams from getting their butts knocked in the dirt so they can keep the ball running.

Byron Lindsey wasn't really super gifted athletically, just a great leader who made plays in key times. I agree that Linemen should get more recognition, so I'll compose a list.

1. Cy Parker
2. Aaron Davis
3. Cody Yancey
4. Drew Wynn
5. Jeff Spiegel

There's a couple players still playing that have potential to be one of the better linemen to come through, but we'll have to wait a little longer.
