Wow I know they let drug users in the church but do they have to allow the drugs also? This is a pretend church who I am sure God is not pleased with the undermining of what they are doing. Its not all of them there but its sad when they watch good people crash and burn and only turn an eye to the ones that fund them. They allow people who have committed adultery to hold offices there and teach classes and now the drugs are involved with their youth group. So so sad.

No one is perfect, but someone needs to set an example. I quit going there because I felt like there was too much singing and dancing anyway. I came away learning nothing and it was more like entertainment. Anyway, if one does not plan on changing their ways they don't need to be there influencing the youth!

Do you have any proof of said drugs coming into the church, and of adulterers holding office? Are they still adulterers or is that they had once in their life committed adultry? If it's the latter then why does it bother you that a church chose to look past someone's past and give them the chance to work in the church? Isn't that what a church should do instead of judging? Why can't people realize that a church is meant to be a place for people to come and worship? The church itself cannot help what individuals decide to do with their lives. Sounds to me like you all need to find something better to do with your time. If you spend your time cutting others down it usually means there's something your not happy with in yourself, but you can't recognize that so you take it out on others.

To the retard who put the off topic lemon, if drugs are being used in the church, they don't need to be influencing the youth. I don't see why that is off topic. LOL

The drugs are in the church. I personally know of at least two youth members that have it and have brought it there as well as at least one adult. The woman who cheated on her husband remains there in a teaching capacity with the kids while her husband was asked to leave. The man she cheated on preached at the church from time to time (NOT the main and current pastor) but he announced he was leaving the church and did right after it happened. I like Hmmm there attended the church and saw first hand what actually happens there. Without super funding from one couple there the church would not be nowhere near where they are now

I know the youth pastor personally and he's an awesome guy! Why bash a church when they have done nothing personally to you. The leadership in that church is solid and I otay for people who get on here and blast people for doing the Lords work. Im sure if you went directly to the people you had a problem with in this church and addressed this situation like it is biblically said to do you might find the opposite of what your putting on here. I mean I don't know the situation but I do know your not supposed to cause gossip and stir up something. The bible says to go the person you have a problem with not slander them. I'm praying for who ever you.

Hey Scott Moore! Do you not ever get tired of stirring stuff up. Don't pretend it's not you either. Whenever YOU messed up your marriage, you accused your wife of cheating with almost EVERY man that was in the church. And FYI...she doesn't hold a teaching posistion in the church anymore. Also you were not asked to leave. The only time I heard of was when you caused a huge scene in the parking lot and the law had to be called. You should stop making stuff up and twisting things. It's not right to drag the church into your personal business.

Coward? No its being concerned for the innocent people in that "church" who have no idea of the problems that plague it. And I can tell you one thing. God sees it and He will judge the ones that are turning a blind eye to it in that place no matter where they have their services

So I am causing drama by speaking the truth about the church? I think not. I find it very sad that Nick Hill the "pastor" of Courts of Praise said in today's Roane County News that he wants to "heal the wounds". How does he intend on doing this when he can not heal the ones in his very own church? How can he do this by turning away from the problems in his own church? How can he do this by being focused on the cash flow that's coming in to that church by a couple of people and serving their needs and not the needs of the entire church? He has drugs in the church, broken families and broken spirits YET this man wants to minister to the rest of Roane County? Wrong. Jesus would not turn away from anyone so I say to Courts of Praise and Pastor Nick Hill to practice what you preach and show your own that you want to heal the wounds there before you venture out into the community!
