The problem for our future is that the educator benefits are too generous for the rest of us and they're not willing to pay any additional costs. I think it's time for educators to pay more for their own healthcare, like the rest of us. I have a relative who's a teacher assistant in Lloyd and she has no copays and very small healthcare bills since everything is almost covered, yet she whines that it's expensive.
It's about time that educators realize what the rest of us have to go through and they need to pay more for their own benefits. We can't afford it anymore. And anyone who says good teachers, etc will leave in droves - well GOOD, there are too many others who are certified but can't get a position because the field is inundated with educators. So many are going into that field because it's overly generous.
