Having rodents is one thing but keeping rodents is another thing and this is exactly what we are doing by giving this lucrative contract to Landscape Service's who don't have any idea on how to rid the city of its problem. Its just a prime example of wasting taxpayers money and keeping job security for a choosen few. Whats wrong with accepting qualified bids from qualified rodent control companies so they can get a handle on the problem and cure the problem that SCS is faced with. All SCS administration is doing is keeping a few people within in the active circle employed while spending big taxpayers and city money. They are paying Landscape Services $ 85.00 per. home for rat inspections on a net 30 days. That means every home Lanscape Services sends out one of their weed pullers to look for rat droppings around a home they collect $ 85.00 billed to the city on a net 30 days, that means as soon as Paul Dupkee request and sends in billing for his so called rat inspections on homes he receives his money within 30 days, this is terrible because they are not a qualified pest control company and don't have a clue about the business they are performing. They should stick with what they know best pulling weeds and cutting grass and thats debatable. Why is it that its so important that we use a nonqualified firm to perform this type operation and receive latge sums of money for doing so. Give us an answer Mr. Mike Smith Asst. City Manager, is it because you are forced to give this firm the project by the person who got you your present job??? We would like some answers before we go to the papers and channels 2, 4, and 7 lets hear it.

Time to draft a petition and present it to CC. The only person(s) who disagree with finding a qualified
pest control company will have a direct interest in the lucrative sweetheart of a deal with SCS.

Looks like you are trying to complain to the wrong people. You will have to complain to the State of Michigan because they are the ones that licensed LSS for such activity.

Mr. Downey, or should I call you Jack? I'm interested in what company the city hires to do the jobs related to code enforcement issues. I was told you were involved heavily until one day when you got the drop on a city employee the Mayor did away with your committee. I will say this. I bet you that company doesn't show up to the council and expain anything. Do you know that a guy asked him to explain his plan at the next meeting? The whole dang council voted for this company giving complete control to the owner. What is wrong with these people? Now this Smitt guy wants to have every body open up their yards and basements for rat patrols and water meter installing. I wish you would could get to more of them meetings and tell them because I don't think they read this topic.

Ho, Ho, Ho the reason they do so much rat abatement is because they don't know what they are doing, so they just keep repeating the process to no avail except $ 85.00 per household net 30 days.

Then if you are that sharp you should certainly be capable of printing your name in full. Remember I didn't request you to write your name, I said print, I want to make it as easy as possible for you because I realize there is a spelling and some mentality problems and limitations. Remember when you get a minute just jot your real name down I'll handle the rest. Thank you and have a great day.

Like your name is mentinoed? I have no problem giving you my name and address. You of course hide behind multiple names and accuse people of the same thing you do. your bullshit tactics are juvenile at best.
