Earmarks huh? Don't you just mean wel-fare there Tank? I would vote for anyone who would reform government. Enough earmarks, we need progress, not more welfare largesse. Ashley Judd is no threat whatsoever to McConnell. If the Democratic Party gives her the nod, count on Mitch to get another 6 years.

Mitch has already sown up Eastern Ky. he said he will vote against any new gun legislation that goes against the second amendment. That means no weapons ban! He will carry win by a wide margin if he runs again.......

Okay. She is famous and pretty. Let's all vote for her. I think NOT. I would rather wait and see what she stands for and against before I make that kind of decision. I don't like Mitch Mcconell but Ashley Judd may turn out to be worse than him. I've heard that she is a big advocate for abortion rights, and when it comes to late term / 3rd trimester abortions, which is gross. I would not vote for her based on that alone, if that is true. I'm pro-choice but NOT when it comes to fully developed fetuses in the 3rd trimester. That makes me sick.

What a joke! Jesco White will be Governor of Wva. before she beats Mitch McConell. Kentucky is a 65% registered democrat state that elects republican senators, why? The last democrat senator from Ky., was Wendell Ford in the early 80`s.....

She would probably win an office in Lexington, Louisville or Bowling Green, but she would never win an office representing the entire state of Kentucky, unless she changed radically. I've heard her talk during interviews about her political views and the far-left, liberal policies that she supports. She would be insane to spend money running for a Kentucky seat. I can say this much about Kentuckians, they don't get star-struck so easily that they'd vote for any celebrity who ran for anything in this state. Case in point: Nicholas Clooney, the very famous journalist, anchorman, and television host. He is Oscar-winning actor George Clooney's father. Nicholas Clooney ran for a seat in the House of Representatives representing Kentucky's 4th Congressional District. He had lots of support, money and publicity. He lost.

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Rand Paul introduced legislation to protect Kentucky's coal miners from an overreaching Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its war on coal. Coal is a vital sector of Kentucky's economy. More than 200,000 jobs in the state depend on it, including the jobs of approximately 18,000 coal miners, and half the country's electricity comes from coal.
