I cannot begin to imagine the odor in her house with 28 cats. I thought there were ordinances in most towns allowing only a certain amount of pets at a residence. It is not that I lack compassion for this woman, however, who can even afford to keep that many pets assuming they are cared for properly?I think it is inhumane to have animals that you can't afford to take care of or at least feed. Her situation did not happen overnight--how many animals would she have taken in if she were still able to feed them? Maybe it is time to create some new laws or enforce laws already on the books, these situations need to be reported and addressed.
