why don't you mind your own business Ummmm. It's our right as responsible dog owners to be able to breed our dogs if we want! And it's not always for the money, some people actually keep the puppies. And i'm bout 99.9% positive that you'll not find any Yorkies at the Harlan Animal shelter & if ya do they won't be there long someone will claim it, or it will be one of the 1st to get adopted! And you know this as well as any of us. So please go preach somewhere else....

You're right! Probably won't find any Yorkies... They were all killed last Friday!! How do u call breeding responsible? You breed, sale to someone who THINKS they want a house dog then they get tired of them real quick then they go to whoever else will buy it from them and so on. Seen it happen WAY TOO MANY TIMES!!!! Happened to my moms yorkie! Luckily my mom got her before she went to the pet shop! So say whatever you want and be as smart as u want we BOTH know I'm only speaking the truth! And while you r breeding shelter animals are dying! And u must have never been to the shelter before bc they have or have had all breeds come through there! Not all of them get rescued! FACT! Even yorkies get put down in these shelters! I could go on and talk about "responsible" but I'll leave it at this! But think about it. Why not adopt from the shelter so one less animal has to die?!?!?(:

Yada yada yada! Yeah i'm sure alot of breeds come through there, but i'd be willing to lay money down on it that Harlan animal schelter did NOT put any yorkies down. And yes I have been to the shelter before, in fact looking for a yorkie to adopt, but what a surprise they didn't have one. I even left my name & number & asked them to call me if one did come in. Waited for over 6 months. Finally just went and bought one! From a breeder as a matter of fact. And I tell ya what... Next time I want to get a house dog, i'll come to the shelter & see what they have! And I wasn't meaning breeding was the responsible thing to do, & you know it, you were just using it out of context to you're advantage. Anyways... quit harassing people on here, we all seen the news.

Most people that will buy a Yorkie, or any purebred dog for that matter, will 9 times out of 10 take care of it. These dogs go from around $200 up to $600 and sometimes even more, such as $1,000. But I do think that if anyone is going to breed they need to be responsible and check out any prospective buyers before they sell their puppies.

I agree with you. Anyone who spends that much money on a dog, is gonna take care of it, thats one thing for sure. And yeah you should check out the potential buyers also... alot of people know the people they're selling to & know its going to a good home.
