<quoted text>You should probably go back and reread this thread. Let me break it down for you.
Person A picked on someone eles's spelling.
So I pointed out to Person A that his spelling was just as bad.
So I didn't start that. I was only telling Person A that they have no right to judge someone else based on spelling, when they were spelling words just as bad.
I guess you missed that part of the conversation. I'm not trying to be the spelling police. I just get sick of people telling someone they are stupid, and in the same sentence, spelling the word stupid incorrectly.
The reason I got in this conversation is because I know Jamie Truth personally and I know for a fact the guy is smart. He just got worked up and in the heat of the moment he made a few mistakes. And guy is also big and mean as hell and I'm sure if you wanna meet somewhere he will be up for it. And if memory serves me you have said on several threads that it was your last post on this thread. And if you never went to Southeast in the first place stay out of it. Let me tell me what you are and that is a jerk and a liar. There is way more to being smart than spelling everything correctly, some are great at history and have trouble spelling. Let me be blunt you need to fuc* off pal!

<quoted text>I do not do drugs because I choose not to and I know many people who are drug free because their jobs demand it. Why NOT have an opinion about those doing drugs who are suppose to be examples for young adults seeking an education. When you are arrested and facing criminal charges, that makes ones' life PUBLIC and places ones'character in question. If you do not want to be talked about stay out of jail or at least off the streets. Stay in your own environment. Driving under the influence places innocent people in danger. If one hits a car with child passengers killing or injuring them perhaps YOU will be tempted to point a finger. You are right, no one is perfect but regularly dishing out work with the assumption students have the skills to complete a task while offering with little instruction does not give a teacher the title "great educator". Most importantly, when students KNOW an instructor uses and are under the influence this brings to light the issue of respect especially when teachers come across as judgmental, critical and in the personal business of students. How can you preach about work ethic or goals when you have little control over your own life. These families are PAYING money for classes and to a degree being cheated. Persons truly concerned with their careers as teachers should not put themselves in positions to be judged. Still the main issue is STAYING OUT OF JAIL which makes their lifestyles open to discussion and it should be. In short if you were not frequently jailed no one would be pointing fingers would they? This in reference to your statement about responsibility.
You need a good dose of life and thats because you obviously dont have one!

So, you are telling us that "folowing", is spelled correctly? If you reviewed it, then you need a new version of spell check to go along with that wonderful education you have there at morehead.

Here's the deal, and the last time I will comment on this post. If you were the one with the drug problem, it would be okay for you to keep your job. Since you are not, they should be fired. That's the problem around here, no one sees the good in anything, or anyone. I am not saying it is right, but from an education stand point, these teachers are very well qualified. The only reason you are on here whining, is because you are jealous. Welcome to america, the home of hurt feelings; where everyone is too busy worrying about everyone else's business lest their own. If you do it, it's okay. If someone else does it: take their jobs, their homes, their lives. I hope you are always perfect, and never do wrong, since you have ever. Of course the world is going to end; how can it go on when people are so busy pointing fingers, instead of taking responsibility for their own mistakes. I can only imagine who you really are behind your computer. I bet you don't even have a job, or you wouldn't be worried about what someone else is doing at theirs.
Well how about you run for pblic office you sound like a genius? This is topix of course people point fingers you good good shoes smuck!

Other than the charges resently, the teacher in question had not been in jail since 2005. How do you catorgize that with being in and out of jail all the time. Second off, Southeast does not teach children, but rather adults that will soon face the challeneges of the real world, where drugs and criminals are everywhere. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe life hasnt' been a bed of roses for everyone? Do you know why she used drugs? do you know why she drove high back 7 years ago, yes 7 years ago. She is on a probation violation, but do you know what for? How do you know it's drug use? were you there? Her current charges may have nothing to do with drugs at all. If you are close to her enough to know that she has a drug problem or not, why are you on here bashing her, instead of being her friend. She has had a great influence on me and my education and I will stand up for her no matter what, don't like it?, YOu are intitled to your own opinion, everyone has one. I know I have typos on here, so there is no need to point those out to me, and I don't need you to preach to me about drugs etc,,, I live in the real world, my life has not been handed to me on a silver platter, I know what stuggles are and I know what it's like to be in a hard spot. My momma and daddy didn't shield me from the world, nor did they protect me from the elements of life. I learned the hard way, and I am no better than anyone. If I can reach out to someone and have a positive effect on their lives, even if that means simply taking up for them, then I will do so. I have no reason to snirl my nose at anyone, and I refuse to do so. If everyone spent as much time caring and understanding, as they do judging and putting people down, this world would be a better place. In light of today's tradegy, this point is evidnet. If someone had of reached out to the young man who went on a rampage, and offered him assistance, instead of judging, gossiping, and being hurtful, he could have gotten help for his issues, and maybe not have killed those children. One of the most common causes of such acts of violence, is lack of self-esteem, and uncontrolable feelings. Maybe he needed someone to talk to, someone to offer assistance, someone who understands. I am not saying that it would have helped the situation, but it surely couldn't have hurt. Now those babies are dead, and everyone is thinking about what could have been done different. It's too late when someone is already pushed over the edge. reach out and pull them back, don;'t push them on over.

You have done a lot of typing, but you said nothing. And how dare you take up for that piece of trash that KILLED THOSE CHILDREN. That has NOTHING to do with this discussion! The reason drugs and criminal run rampant in this country is because idiots like you take up and make excuses for them.

OK I am going to say this using YOUR way of thinking. So jusy because someone does something a few years back then it's okay. With that been said, still using YOUR strategy on life. Here is a thought for you. Is it okay for someone who was arrested in years past for molesting children to teach your kids? You said maybe if someone talked to them then they would be okay. I can tell you the correct answer and it is NO. Some people regardless of their situation past or present do not need to have authority over anyone. And talking to these individuals solves nothing.

The bleeding liberal heart you have to love it! Listen we are talking about junkie teachers and you get on here blaming others for what that low-life cold- blooded-murderer did to those children. You are an imbecile in every way possible. Actually an imbecile would be an upgrade for you, and an high upgrade.

Guess what! The school lied when they said these teachers were no longer working at the school. This was said over Xmas break. It seems that was a bald face lie. SHE's not fired (still in the classroom) and the other one still comes to class acting all crazy. Its a disgrace when school officials lie but what else is new in this good ole' boy ghost town,a who's who of "never beens".

Until she is found guilty on new charges, SECC can't fire her. Sure, she went to jail, and I'm not defending her at all, but right now, she has only been charged, not convicted. And if SECC fires her now, and the charges end up being dropped or she is found innoncent, then SECC is in major trouble.

Also, we should know why she went to jail before we want her to lose her job. If it is drug related, then fire her. But if she only missed a meeting and had her parole revolked for that, I'm not sure she should lose her job over that.

You would be lucky to get Southeast to fire you if you killed someone. The place is a joke plain and simple!
