Go look at her facebook status and see where peoples donated money is going! They are down there living it up while that poor baby is at the hospital alone what a shame!! I hope people who have gave her money can see what she is doing with it and maybe not give her no more if she was there doing the right thing with that baby it would be ok but to be out eating and treating others out to hooters and lounging in a motel and swimming. If that was my baby the last thing on my mind would be having a good time and swimming.

I did go check it out.. Seems like they are on vacation...hmmm.. swimming, eating at hooters, relaxing watching tv at the hotel, they have family members there that they are entertaining.. all the while this innocent child was hanging on to life. That right there goes to show you what kind of parents they are..They proved how much they care about that baby and posted it all on facebook for everyone to see. Any decent mother would not even be able to think about food or fun while their child lay in a hospital bed close to death. Now someone come up with an excuse about their parenting, say they are good parents, go ahead I dare ya. The proof is on the internet.Pitiful I tell ya, just plan downright pitiful.

Just got back from hooters me and Jamie took Ryan there and we are back at the hotel watching tv and goin to go swimming in a few. Thank god that my baby girl is doing better now. Love u Isabella and Jamie

When my baby was in the hospital, i slept in the crib with her. the nurses had to make me go get something to eat. the last thing on my mind was swimming or going out to eat, little alone relaxing. i was to worried about her. mary u are just as much to blame for what happened to that baby as jamie is, if not more because u are its mother. u need to give that baby to someone that can care for it. or take parenting class do something to show that u actually care about her. i dare someone to lay their hands on one of my babies. they would be in icu fighting for their lives not my baby. a real true mommy will protect their child, will walk threw fire, will die to protect their child.

I'm just curious as to why none of you "Good Samaritans" have contacted DCS or the police. If you know about this abuse and you don't come forward with it, you are just as guilty as the idiots who are doing the abusing. Posting about this on topix isn't going to help that poor innocent little child. Hopefully the nurses at the hospital will do the right thing. And when DCS steps in, sooner rather than later, i hope..that baby will be given to some people who will treat her the way a baby should be treated. i pray it happens before something else "goes wrong."

For one, I have seen several cases were CPS was called and nothing was done. So calling them may not help. The doctors and nurses know the condition of the child when they brought her to the hospital, they are obligated to report suspected abuse. If these people can't parent this child, they need to care enough about this baby to GIVE her to someone that can raise her! There are plenty of people who would love and care for her!! It is so sad that someone could hurt a child, especially their own!

I will say they had something to do with her condition until someone convinces me otherwise. I just don't see a 2 month old child getting broken ribs, unless in an accident or act of stupity from ignorant morons!!!!

I HAVE reported it and even called back a second time to see what the word was! They said they are going to "look into it" CPS is a JOKE along with the "cops" around here! If we want anything done we have to do it our damn selves and it's a damn shame!!!

Exactly! My baby was hospitalized when she was just 2 weeks old, she started running a fever of 103 (swine flu was horrible at this time) and we took her to harlan hospital and they gave us the choice to keep her there or fly her out and we told them we wanted her to be flown the Johnson c
City. I dont think she would be here with us today if we had let her stay in harlan, the doctors and nurses were great over there and I truly think they saved my baby's life! But when she was there me or husband either one could sleep, we would take shifts, one sleep for about a hour then the other sleep for a hour. We only slept that hour a day! The only time ONE of us would leave her side would be to go smoke a cigarette every 3 or 4 hours! We did not stay in a hotel room, we stayed right there with our baby! I couldn't have even imagined leaving her, going swimming, or out to eat ect.! Me and my husband could barely stomach to eat a few chips! Running a fever that high in a infant is very dangerous but I couldn't even imagine having a baby with broken ribs and bleeding of the brain! You couldn't pay me a million dollars to leave its side! This is sickening! And btw I was talking about this with some one in the medical field and they said 90% of the time when a child has bleeding of the brain and broken ribs, the injuries are caused by the picking up the baby with your hands around it's ribs, squeezing it and shaking it! The squeezing causes the breaking of the ribs and shaking causes bleeding of the brain! These "so called parents" need to be tied up and every bone in their bodies broken one by one!

She has pictures holding her baby with iv's in the babys head! How on this earth could she sit and hold that baby with a smile on her face?!?! This breaks my heart into pieces! They need to suffer for doing this baby like this! This is ridiculous!! I have no more words to even explain this kind of stupidity, ignorant, piece of shit parenting these 2 have!

What about the grandparents? They are the only other two who kept the baby... Mary's dad can't even walk let alone take care of a baby... Don't even want to start on her mom.. To me it's like they are hiding something, laying blame on everyone else... Thats where the social workers should start there case, jus to say....

The social workers need to get involved they look into stuff when it's not needed but when they really need to look into something like with this poor baby then they don't Mary doesn't need this baby it's going to be abused again if it gets to go back home to her everyone that's commented on her needs to call and report the abuse then maybe something will be done about it cause this poor baby needs our help
