my TDS router or whatever totally just quit working and would not start back. I turned it off and back on several times, reset it, etc. I called them and they are sending another one. Luckily, the last time they sent me a new one, I didn't send the old one back, so I hooked the old one up and luckily it works.
i would

so aggravated wth TDS, the internet just goes out and in constantly. Tonight the red light was on the power button and wouldn't change. On the phone they said that meant it was defective. But when I hooked the old one up it worked.

Heck I gotta 1977 yellow Gremlin.'Em suckers could survive a direct hit from an ICBM!
I figure all I would need is a nice assortment of weapons, transportation and the address of ANYONE who knows you personally and that possesses inside info on the whereabouts of your stockpiles of supplies. Cawz they aint no doubt that ANYONE who knows you personally would sell you out for few food stamps and a five pound box of government cheese.
I'm prepped for just that situation.

Do you have any idea how many people would kill you for that car? You wouldn't make it to the Cumberland Tunnel. The police would for one would take that car, or they would confiscate it for sure since their cars are computerized, and won't run.

Yeah, people will sell you out to survive for sure, so everyone better have a plan for that. I do!

Oh, there will be no government cheese or help of any kind for that matter. You're 100% on your own.

I just do not see you traveling in a car while millions, upon millions of starving, armed people are out there looking for people like you, with food, and ammo. You know all highways would be impassible, if not blocked, or destroyed.

You need to prep Raw. I know this sounds crazy, but look how the world and America is truly headed.

Here's a few things my Granny "Prepped" for.(Course she has always been strong believer in the super market tabloids too. And has a habit of feeding cats that aint there.)
Y2k
The new millenium.
Dec 2012
The rapture
Nostradamus's 1999 prophecy
The anti-christ.
Just to name a few.
And since none of those things came to past, she is now scowling the super market tabloids for the next "END OF DAYS" prophecy
Heck man she's got can food stored in her basement that is dated from back in the 40's!
Why dont ya'll search the National Inquirer for the latest "END OF LIFE AS WE KNOW IT" scenarios? After all we all know that they have won multiple awards for ground breaking, unique, highly credible news forecasting.
This is not about prophecy Raw, this is about survival if a natural disaster happens like a EMP hits the earth, or civil unrest should the economy collapse, or any other disaster. It could be as simple as you losing your job and you can't find another one for a long time. The bills keep rolling right on in, and your family needs food for no telling how long. This is not the time to be defiant.

Sounds like your grandmother was a very smart woman. You need to follow her lead.

EH ...FINE!
But trusting the future of your survival to products purchased at the "Dollar Tree?" You gotta be kidding me! LMAO.. HA HA HA!
The Dollar Tree's Charmin is the same as Food City, or Don's. Pine Soil is Pine Soil. Salt is salt. Can food is food no matter where you get it.

You need to rethink your position about this.

You may not have the years you think you have. I hope you do.

Let me lay a thought on ye.
If we're prepared for a disaster then is it still a disaster?
And on a serious note.
If I have learned anything during my time it is that disaster always comes in the least expected ways. And usually in ways that you are totally and completely unprepared for. If everyone was prepared and survived in relative comfort.
Then disasters would no longer be considered disasters huh?
That just it..you're trying to be in a position NOW to survive any disaster...if you survive it, it was still a disaster, you just lived to talk about it. If you weren't, we'd be talking about how we wish you would have done the smart thing, so you could still be alive.

It's all up to you!

If I was doing any better than I am now, I'd be having hot steamy sex with my bride this second.

Enjoying sex daily, is also a part of prepping. A lot of people do not know that. LOL

You take care, and have fun.

Too old? LOL

I do not worry about prepping, I am educating you about prepping.

You should be thanking me for trying to help you survive a disaster should one happen.
