What would you do if the grocery store shelves were empty, and the delivery trucks that resupply those stores were not coming?

What would you seriously do???

Are you prepared?

i would just drive down the street to a different store!
that store with the empty shelves should pay their bills if they want to keep the trucks rolling.

This is the second topic i've seen in the last five minutes that someone is talking about shooting coons. What's the obsessions with coons tonight? or should i say fetish with coons.

On a serious note.

The trucks would not be rolling especially in the event of an electromagnetic pulse (solar flare from the sun, or a nuke exploded about 25-50 miles above America). Nothing electric would work at all. All circuits would be fried. No cars, or trucks, and toss in motorcycles and tractors as well.

If there were civil unrest let's say due to an economical collapse,(all money would be worthless), all truckers would be killed and robbed on site from the scavengers. People would get into survival mode immediately, and the tribal mentality, inhumane, part of humanity would evolve.

No store would ever see groceries ever again, unless America somehow pulled together and rebuilt, after new technologies would be recreated, going back 200 years at least.

Ok now on a serious note, i live in a place rich with wild game, I have the tools needed for growing food (old school style), and i have the common sense to survive. Stocked up with enough ammo to last a very long time. Plus without sounding like a paranoid freak, i have a basement stocked with can foods, and other items that will buy me alot of time to get things figured out.

Good deal...Just make sure you have clean water galore!!

Also, spread out your food in the event some mob comes to your place heavily armed and takes the food from your basement. This way, you'll have a backup.

I have some buried food, water, guns and ammo, supplies deep enough, that a metal detector cannot detect them. I have many hidden locations and bug out places to go to.

I'm working on building water sources right now the most, since in my state, we cannot catch it and store it. Colorado sells water to desert states and makes big money off of it.

Sounds like you are doing okay so far.

I have lots of dried food, canned food;flour, meal etc.I think knowledge would save more lives than any thing.Survival skills, being able to survive in your surroundings.traps snares dead falls, shelter makeing, etc. As far as myself I can survive with what skills I have. However as a groupe you need more of evrything supplies anyway,Family survival would be more difficult. As a group evryone would have to do their part.

I could dig up poisoned food as well, and serve them that. I wonder if they are willing to consider that?

I have bug out spots over a 50 mile area.(From my city house to my mountain house). They can't get to it all, but I can if the SHTF.

There will be a poisoned supply of food for those who want to try to be cute. Cool huh?
