worsest mistake i ever made was leaving joes for bmr, i hate bmr with a passion, they just don't treat their men good, and take for granted the clean sober people thats their everyday. joe and his supervisors are the best, from ray alred down, nothing but good genuine people. if i could take it all back, i would have stayed with joe.

for whoever works at black mountain resources! theres a guy works there his name is ROBERT HALL FROM LESLIE COUNTY he is one of the biggest jealous CUTTTHROAT's you will ever deal with in your mining career! its a fact.. BLACK MOUNTAIN is crazy for hiring that troubling CUTTHROAT plus he will get them alot of citations and big fines because he cannot get along with the FEDERAL MINE INSPECTORS!!!! that boy is trouble!!!!!

Go get into a trade school that learns you how to run equipment, I think it takes six months, when you get through it apply in Virginia for lone mountain they will hire you before long, then you will have it made dude.I know a guy that never worked in a mines in his life that went through one of those trade schools in whitesburg I think is where he went, anyways,he got hired at lone mountain this past spring. so dont let no one tell you it cant be done,he has drove a shuttle-car up there ever since.

Needn a job. Got my green card. I'm a veteran with 2 tours in Iraq. I'm a hard worker drug free and need to get my foot in the door somewhere. Been to black mountain and a few others. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it

Like I said go take a trade school class and learn how to run equipment. If you get a M.E.T card its like gold now the M.E.T card will get you a job by itself....but if you go take mining equipment operator classes you will be better off, then lone mountain will put you in the red hat program, its a good place to work,I think there is one of those equipment operator schools in hazard too.

Must be a certified (experienced) miner to take the M.E.T. class. And, you'd better be sure you can handle blunt force trauma first responder / first aid before you take the M.E.T. class. Because if you are a MET, then YOU are in charged of any traumatic accident that happens on your watch. You can't say, oh I don't want to help you, or I caaaaaaaaan't. When an accident occurs, the MET is the one in charge; no one else.
