Do you even know any Canadians, because I do. My niece is married to a Canadian. I also have very good family friends that live in Edmonton, Alberta, in a small town in Eastern Quebec, and in Nova Scotia. So I know all about their medical care up there. Like I said my niece is married to a Canadian, a Texas girl, born and raised. You might be able to fool others with those scare tactics, but it wont work on me.

Why should I be expected to quote numbers when you and others throw around accusations and scare tactics without "proof". Besides, I can find 'evidence' to back any argument , just like you can.
The examples I heard about the Canadian system were from news stories I heard or read during the health care debate. The stories also talked about how dysfunctional europes govt run health care was. I believe australia has a similar system with rationed care, long waits, etc. I can't remember exact numbers but I believe their cancer death rates far exceed ours.
The only 'fact' that matters to me is that I don't want the govt controlling my health care, which is exactly what ObamaCare is. The govt cannot manage anything effectively, period. Name one branch of govt that is well run. You can't. And you want some bureaucrat directing your health care?

Then I guess you will be sending back your Social Security checks and won't be using your Medicare benefits when you turn 62 or 65, or if you become disabled, right? I guess if you live in a flood plain you aren't paying for federal flood insurance, which is the only way you can get it. If you live in an area that is wiped off the map by a natural disaster, flood, hurricane, or tornado, you won't be one of those people on the news crying with your hand out asking where all the FEMA aid is. If you get laid off and can't find a job you sure won't be going down to the unemployment office and signing up for unemployment benefits cause that is just more Government bureaucrats sticking their nose in your business! Right?

There won't be any Social Security or Medicare when the economy crashes. The
government is broke. 15 trillion dollars in debt.

This is true, I have a friend who had a lump in his throat, had to show up everyday to this doctors office in hopes to be seen. 2 weeks later, he gets seen, and he has a rapid growing cancer in his throat. Now he has a diagnosis, don't know when he will get treatment. Not so bad on this side of the border after all.

Less than half of working Americans pay any income tax. The number of Americans collecting disability is over 8 million, more than a 100% increase since 1990. Over half of all Americans collect some form of govt assistance.
