"random survey"? Who is the KDH kidding? They quote known recall supporters and Billy Workman. Unbelievable.

Read the story and didn't see any of the people mentioned saying they supported recall. What about Workman? Look at his track record in minutes of past council meetings at city website. Mostly voted down in money saving decisions he tried to make for Killeen. Mostly those with money to burn seem to dislike Workman. Probably his decisions put damper on their plans to get ahead.

Is the picture shown in the article above the same old man that Corbin's supporter was making fun of? Cyberbulling senior citizens isn't fair. What's wrong with society? Why can't they respect elders?

Anyone taking on the good ole network in Killeen so citizens can have more say in local government earns respect. More people like Clay are better for city but maybe not for old network.

Everyone knows Gandy, Dick Young, etc are currently electioneering. It is flagrant. Just calling a spade a spade. They ran an article and chose who they wanted to be in it, and added a couple of others for fun. Quoting Workman was a hilariously obvious example of trying to influence the election.

Vote for who you want to, but everyone knows who the KDH backs.

The recall, Jonathan Okray, and Billy Workman are all instruments of destruction by several people who have been involved in Killeen politics for a long time.

Many people chose to recall council for genuine reasons, but it was funded by people making a power play or exacting revenge. These people are currently trying to influence this election for their own reasons that have nothing to do with "transparency", "openness" and "the will of the people". KDH is run by one of these people.

I am not saying there aren't honest people who believe in Workman, etc. I am just saying that Young, Clay, Gandy, etc are doing nothing more than trying to win power.

So the candidates running against Okray and Workman would be instruments of what then? Maybe the likes of Okray and Workman are considered instruments of destruction since they don't favor the traditional power structure in Killeen. The old money that's used to getting their way and their agendas that have been on hold without a council to vote their plans ahead.

Seen quotes from all candidates in paper. Harold Butchart, Corbin and Estrada were all quoted in paper after KDH forum. Why would Dick Young influence what paper writes? Isn't he part of good old network? Who are people exacting revenge and revenge for what? People can't participate in improving city without it being labeled as revenge and power?!

The KDH is biased. Everyone knows it. You can deny if you want, that is fine.

Certainly it's biased! But why? When it doesn't cover the preferred news told crew in Killeen wants to see in paper. Essentially they'd like to limit news surrounding city matters to nothing. Public doesn't need to know all business dealings. One problem though! People pay taxes to city so have rights to know stuff. Someone on one thread in this forum is mouthing off about being contracted to find out about a group in Killeen. All this comes up after recall when old regime lost control? Interesting.

How is it people say recall was funded? Didn't Okray collect signatures on recall petitions for free? Did city charge money to submit petitions?
