I still cant beileve that he is gone honestly. I feel that one day out of the blue he will just walk into the school and everyone will be ok. But I know that will never happen. I never got to close what we had going. Not a relationship but he was my best guy friend ever. He still is and he will always be. I am just so sad that it had to be him and nobody else. I Love You DeMarcus. I will never forget you.

What are the details of the accident...was it a dangerous road? I'm always pushing for more sidewalks.

It was dangerous road for pedestrians, as a matter of fact, it was a very dangerous situation for pedestrians. DeMarcus was struck and killed while attempting to cross the Hwy 190, at 10 o' clock at night. It was a terrible, tragic accident that never should have happened.

I didn't know Demarcus at all. It is tragic for a life to be lost at such a young age.
But listen to me kids. If you don't start learning how to spell and how to properly compose a sentence you will suffer later in life. No body wants to hire someone that graduated but can't spell or write.
So, please...learn how to spell and how to be grammatically correct! Do it for Demarcus!

Haley...look at what you just wrote. No puncuation...no capital letters starting sentences and the last sentence is all jacked up.

You have a statement connected to a question and then, what I presume to be, another statement but it's not complete. Sheeeeesh.

So...maybe you can spell. But it seems that you still can't write a paragraph correctly. What's wrong with the kids today?

Rolling Dawg,
Why don't you just hush. There is a time and place for everything. This is not the time or place for picking on anyone about their spelling, grammar and or puncuation.
This is a place for kids to post their comments and tell others how they feel about a great kid that lost is life way to soon.
Are you so dang perfect that you have room to make remarks about others? I'm sure your not, just as myself and others. Like I mentioned there is a time and place, this not the place or time to post remarks such as you did!

Theresa E,

I shall not hush for I have the right under the first amendment to speak my peace. Perhaps you should not read what I write if it touches you so.

There is a huge problem with the kids today. This isn't just the way they write...this is the way they live. It's horrible that they are not taught correctly and that their parents don't have enough intestinal fortitude to fix apparent problems with their children for fear of rebellion. These children are our future…god help us! You, my dear, are an enabler.
I’m all for children expressing themselves, especially in a time of emotional tragedy. But they’re trying to pay respect for a lost friend. They should do it respectfully. Using slang and chat jargon while paying their respect to their deceased friend is not a tribute or honorable. It’s actually disgraceful and a real shame. The bigger shame is that I really don’t think that some of them know any other way of communicating. Again, this is our future.
So, disagree if you wish. But my point of view will not change. I am terribly sorry for the young gentleman that lost his life and my heart goes out to his family but the rest of the community needs to wake up and take care of those that are still alive and fix the blatant problems that plague our schools and streets on a daily basis. Ignorance and a huge lack of discipline run amuck, in case you haven’t noticed.

So...I disagree. This is the time and place. It is always the time and place to help the youth of our community.

Good day!

I couldn't believe he was gone when they told me that weekend.and i remember that Monday in the library it was a Grey day.I remember him sitting in the back second period always mocking Mrs.Devers when she used to get on him for every single thing, from his M.O.R'S to his signed progress report.i remember the day of the memorial it broke my heart how Tim could barely spit the words out everyone close to him was affected. And even i that wasn't so close to him.It bothers me that him out of all people(not wishing anything bad to others)that had a dream and then here comes someone and just takes away his life like it was nothing. We all miss him even to this day.
