Obama's Muslim Problem - Has he been too conciliatory?

When it comes to any issue that involves Islam, President Obama starts with an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is that he's seen as sympathetic to Muslims. The disadvantage is also that he's seen as sympathetic to Muslims. With a Muslim name, African Muslim ancestry on his father's side, and the experience of growing up in Indonesia for part of his childhood, Obama understands Islam better than any previous American president. This gives him an opportunity, which he has seized, to try to defuse Muslim hostility and pursue a less acrimonious relationship with Muslim nations. But 11 percent of the public continues to believe that the president is himself a Muslim. Though this is untrue and raises the question Colin Powell asked—so what if he were?—the president's heritage feeds a broader suspicion that he is too casual about the threat from America's Islamist enemies.

The attack on Ft Hood will be investigated until we are all blue in the face. It isn't rocket science, An armed Jihadist took a gun, and killed 13 people, and wounded 31 in an act of war against the U S. It is very simple to determine. What the problem is is that our President, and Democrat political leaders cannot tell the truth about it without owning up to the fact that Obama, and his minions are soft on terrorism. Can't even say the word, and they encouraged this Arab terrorist to attack his infidels. Americans are way ahead of the Government on this one, and we won't be coddled into thinking Hasan was a lone demented gunman. He was mentally sound enough to order a lawyer as soon as his eyse were opened. 67% of Americans believe this was a terrorist attack, and 80% are outraged about it. Where is the outrage from the Democrats in D C?

As Surly as that American Muslim ,a Major in the US Army,could not hold back his Beliefs,and the teaching of Jihad,So too others may be in conflict with them selves.I do not think the Majors father was a Muslim.Obamas Two fathers were.In dreams of his father,were what were his fathers dream about his son was to be a good Muslim? The Question how or does it effect his judgment RE: Muslim involvement in all terrorist actions. It Seems that Major, Muslim,ButA Closet terrorist,reached a point he could not accept as a Muslim.,to serve his so-called Country.America...It makes me wonder about Obama.

You say Obama and his minions are "soft" on terrorism". Okay, but the previous admnistration was hard on terrorism and we're still fighting two wars, and we haven't captured the Bin Laden. So whether the president is soft or hard, it hasn't made a difference. I love how people are quick to blame Obama for this tragedy, but no one blamed Bush for 9/11. You do know that USA trained those terrorists who flew the planes into the buildings? I wouldn't pin that blame on Bush, and I won't pin the Ft. Hood murder on Obama. We are a vulnerable country, and if you think about it real hard, there are probably plenty of those who hate us being trained in the armed services as we speak, and will probably turn against us. It's not the president's fault, we just need better security and better screening to weed out these haters. Oh wait, that wouldn't be political correct, would it?

So what? Suppose he shouted "Jesus is Lord!" Does that defame Christianity?

How do you know his aim was to reduce the number of the deployed? And if it was, you can't say he was competent. Some of the dead were deployed, and were headed home. Others never saw duty overseas. Unless he was working off a list, he'd have no way to know if he was successfully reducing the ranks of the deployed.

Sounds more like he's crazy.(Or that YOUR theory is out to lunch.) But that's what the investigation will establish.

By the way, what kind of Christian deliberately trashes the Third Commandment using a term like "obammmamessiah"? The Lord takes His name seriously, and probably doesn't care for you trying to score cheap partisan points misusing one of those names.
